Virtuso and Loner
« on: April 10, 2012, 03:28:08 PM »
My sim adopted two kids so far, one as a baby and when she aged up to toddler I adoted another as a toddler.  They are getting ready to age up and I am not sure of what trait to choose,  if I can pick one.  Mom sim is an author, so she is a stay at home mom, able to give them all the attention they need.

One is Virtuso and Loner, other is Heavy Sleeper and Loves the Outdoors.

Second is easy, can go wth gardening, angler; there are several others.  It is the first one that I am not sure about.  A Loner with Virtuso?  I don't see how a guitar player can be a loner, especially if one of the requirements is party animal.  For a loner that would be torture.

So, suggestions please on what I can choose to help guide an acceptable career for this little girl.

They are driving the maid nuts, LOL.  books and toys everywhere, two potty chairs to keep clean.  My mom sim does a lot of empting of potty chairs also, but it is funny to watch him come in and go gag over the potty chairs, then find toys eveywhere and as he is picking up some the kids are hauling out another, or I am mean and lay books down after he has picked them up.  Love that pause key.

Back to question, other traits that would help in career, what career to choose with those traits

You don't really need to be a party animal to be a guitarist. She could always just be a guitarist who likes to be alone. Or any other musical instrument. If you have Late Night, I'd pick piano. Piano seems like a nice instrument for a loner to play.

How about giving him the genius trait and letting him learn logic alongside piano. You need the logic and music skill for the music career symphonic branch. I agree with Fez I imagine a pianist as a loner.

Self-employed band member, play for tips in the subway. Those are the traits I choose for a this profession along with artistic and two others you can pick. You don't interact with other sims in the subway. Have her learn to level 5, perform about 150-200 times, then play for tips to max skill. Easy as pie.

I don't have Late Night, I am wondering if it is worth buying.  I need to really check it out and see if it is worth it for me.  I am enjoying WA and would like to get Pets.  My son has Medieval, which he hasn't registered and has given to me, he thought it was okay.  He goes more for Elder Scroll and Mass Effect type games.

Anyhow, I will go for genuis and check out the Late Night.  I'll check and see what game has subway, some of these expansion packs are sounding quite interesting.

The Pop Icon in Bridgeport is a virtuoso and loner (Lola Belle). Some musicians like solitude.
