Deleting Saved Patterns

Does anyone know of a way to delete the saved patterns?  I've got a ton of saved patterns in Buy Mode and it makes it very slow because the game has to load all of them before I can do anything.  I know there's a delete button for the individual patterns there where I use them, but is there a file in the game where I can mass delete a bunch of them at the same time?

Userpresets.package contains the patterns/colors created by the player, right? It can be deleted and should clear them, I assume. But read more here, as I'm not perfectly sure if deleting this file removes those patterns from your game, and if it contains something else than patterns (like sims created by the player and saved to bin etc)
