I mostly mumble to myself or the monitor while I'm playing, but every so often I'll get annoyed when a sim drops queued actions or when opportunities (usually the ones I don't want) pop up back-to-back so much that I can't queue the action I want to happen. Then I usually have an outburst of 'Really?!' or if I'm really irritated I might fling an expletive or two.

The weirdest thing I do is sing along when my sims sing (I love 'Ping and His Checkers') or hum along with my sims' stereo.  Good thing I tend to play when my husband is at work or asleep, otherwise he might build me a rubber room, too.  :D

I know what you mean katluvr.  Thank heavens I am by myself, my sister is worse, only because I have been on the other end of the phone when one of her sims doesn't do what he is suppose to.  Talk about breaking my eardrum, lol.  So, she had good reason to start this thread. 8)

I used to talk to them a lot when I first started playing but I've gradually stopped doing it. I'm not sure why, maybe its because I actually know what I'm doing. I used to get incredibly confused! I never read the instruction manual when I first got the game, since I prefer to jump straight in and figure things out for myself.

I'm constantly telling them to LISTEN to what I click you to do!!! Stop ignoring your action queue!!

LOL I still do that when I play Sims 2. (I never stopped playing), as I think TS2 free will is more annoying.

I actually told the Egyptian natives in the background, "stop singing that annoying song!" To the babysitters, it's "Go away!" or "Do your job!" The maids, "Stop throwing a fit and get cleaning!"

I'm always talking to my sims and yelling at them. Especially the flirty one, because if I'm not watching her she starts flirting with everyone in the vicinity and keeps losing friends. She even got up to "alluring" with a married man while I was concentraing on her child at home. So I yell "Are you insane"?!

Sometimes, (Like when my 1st Gen. parents had triplets= Bad Birthday Party), I end up saying "No! Pick up that one... No! The other girl... When I click something, do what I click!" Is the average birthday party. Thankfully, I play music while I'm on Sims 3, so no-one can hear me being very, very annoyed at my Sims.

Hi Babycard, welcome to the forums.

Omg, triplets. :o  No wonder you're annoyed, lol.  I've never had triplets and hope I never do.

Good luck with your nooboos! :D

I am more than likely heard saying to sinbad "Oh God, not again, just put your clothes back on man........."

For some reason he just likes to go skinny dipping when ever he sees water, fountains, hot tubs, pools etc, one sight of water and he is gone, all is left is a pile of clothes on the ground

Of course, I also dream about the game too, sometimes I dream that I can go back to an earlier save to avoid bad situations.

I like to repeat whatever they say and sing along with the stereo. Whenever they are not following my instructions I do tend to yell, but not much because then my daughter wants to know what my sims are doing and starts questioning me about everything that's going on in the game.

lol Mine does that too! She likes to watch sometimes. I've let her have my old Sims 2 games, but she has to behave enough before her Dad lets her have her computer back again!
