Has anyone else noticed strange talking and music?

My Sim is at a club and when I pause my game i hear this weird music and what sounds like talking and laughing. But the game is paused, so how is anyone talking?

A lot of times even with my game paused I still hear the tv and sometimes the music playing from a stereo.

That is weird, but this music has nothing to do with the situation my Sims are in. It sounds like someone is talking but there is only like 4 people at this club lol.
Edit: I also hear chinking of glasses.

How long has this been happening? Reason I ask is that this has been happening to me as well, but only since the most recent patch.

Is there another club or home nearby?

I know if I build on the lot next to the laundrymat in Union Cove I hear the classical music from the wall speakers and the sound for when one of the washers breaks down as well as sims chatting inside.

I've had that happen a lot at the dance clubs. I think it's supposed to make you feel your sim is at a real club with people talking and laughing. It's only when your in pause, because then there's the music when you unpause.

In game I've never noticed. Are you sure you weren't existentially listening to music in another program?

Yep I'm sure, I even made sure it was the game itself. It's kinda creepy hearing laughter and music when the game is paused lol.

Awhile, I was wondering if I was hearing things at first but the sounds only are playing with the game is active. If you click off of it, the music stops.

Actually, this. It happens if you are in an apartment building as well, you hear sims talking or even playing guitar or rumbling around the building. That is probably what it is when your sim is in the club.

I'll keep an eye out for the men in the white coats, maybe it's just me?!

Well, if you hear them, they are coming for you.
But serious, I remember I've noticed that sometimes sound keeps playing while on pause. I assume the game was still busy putting everything on hold for you and apparently sound comes last.
