Fave Sims Game?

I've been wanting to make a poll for a while now, and I hope that you THINK about your answer first don't just click Sims 3. Why? It has better graphics, gameplay, ect! But who could forget the simple Sims 1? I was only 9 when I started the sims and my main aim was having a "perfect" family. As a 12 year old I now see the story side of the sims. Think deeply!

Well you have a point there. If I were to put each game into the context of its time, the given victor must be Sims 1 IMO; it was so innovative when it came and I think I've spent more hours with Makin' Magic than with any other Sims game (maybe because I have less time now, but still!).

Same here, I agree with Swede1992. Whilst sims 3 is infinitely better in terms of graphics, loading times, and AI the first sims was amazing for it's time, really innovative, especially with the open source gameplay which allowed all the custom content. I loved it

I also agee.  I liked the makin majic also.  I liked the little mini games too.  I do not even want to guess how many hours any one person has played since day one. I have two boxes of two sets of both sims1 and sims2.

Sims 1 definitely, because of the magic.  I remember how excited I was when my sim got enough magic coins (or whatever they were called) to move into Magic Town!  But it was also a lot of fun having a business in Sims 2.

Actually, a very hard decision.  Each game was unique in its own way.  To be honest, I liked all of them.  Now if EA would just incorporate some things from each game, that would be great.  Who knows, they might someday.

Sims 3 or 2 (I went with 3) I liked 2 because of the Expansions and it was my first sims game ever!  But 3 is so much better in many ways all it lacks is the extra stuff we had in Sims 2!

Cool! I've have played all the games apart from Pets and Life Storys. Castaway was never somthing I really liked.

Wow, Sims3 is way ahead.  Of course, I know that some people have not played sims1, but like someone said, when it first came out, it was a first in its own time and it was awesome.  Sims2 was great, especially the vacation and Open for business.
