About how many families/towns does everyone have and play?

I think I have all the towns but I don't play them all at once.  It depends on what's going on.  I currently have three families that I try to play but lately it's really only been my dynasty that has my attention.  I keep hoping that my interest gets renewed to play the other stories I have going but I keep just popping back over to Artie to see what he's up to.

Got my traveler working nd am presently playing 2 games. One was started in Bridgeport and knowing the man my sim married, she'll have to kick him out or move. since she's a singer, I'm going to have her travel to Starlight Shores to compete and when Mr. non-commital drops the bomb, she'll move there premanently.
The other is Starlight Shores, with trips to Bridgeport to perform. It was funny to see Bridgeport people show up at her gigs in Starlight Shores.
