Yikes! :o  After reading how many of you have such a few amount of games/families what I have will definitely seem excessive!  I get bored easily ::), so I bounce back and forth and around quite often.  I have at least 20 different worlds---most of them medieval.  I have all the EA worlds.   I had to count my saves---currently I have 75 of them.  Some of them I don't actually play in---they are *base* neighborhoods----in case I want to start another game in that world but I don't want to have to redo all my rebuilding/editing of that world.  I usually have 6 rotating saves of the same game---in case something goes wrong that way I can revert back to an earlier save.

While playing in a town, unless it is my Legacy save, I play just about every sim in town.  I get bored with one---and move on.  I work on the next one for a while, then move on. ::)

Wauw, that is what I call A LOT! I should start a new thread about what are all the names of all your created sims, just for you. ;)

I have about 10 games going. A couple for house building (I always make my sims earn the money to build a house), one with Naga's Sunset Valley - a random legacy, one plain Sunset Valley random legacy, one Riverview Deca Dynasty, and the rest just "fooling around". I play with most towns except Bridgeport. I just can't keep my interest going in that one.

I have something like 100 total families, but I only play one - my Legacy. I've been meaning to restart the Chili Dynasty though, so I'll be playing that later, after I finish installing SimCity 4. ;D

Actually, that's one I leave out as well.  I only play it sometimes for challenges as I really like its starter homes.

I have all the towns and , unlike others, prefer Bridgeport for the townies. Lunar Lakes is too sparse for me. Hidden Springs has too many green people. Union cove, though beautiful, lags in play for me due to it's size. Don't have Barnacle Bay, not interesting for me.
I have 2 games going where my sim is in different careers. I don't do legacy games, etc. I'm more into seeing how to advance in careers before you drop dead from old age. Not that simple if your sim likes to enjoy themself and not work like a dog!
In other games, that I don't save, I cheat constantly!

I think six. One with my DecaDynasty, which is the file I play most of the time at the moment. One of Sunset Valley where I'm trying to improve my terrible building skills. The rest are stuff I'm testing out, for example how easy it is to supermax nectar making, another where I'm trying to make a simbot. I used to have more, but I deleted a load I wasn't playing.

Has anyone still got their first save file? I deleted mine, and I kinda regret it now.

Lesse here:

-Twinport Shores File..
-Orphanage Project File..
-"The Real World" w/ 5YA, 2A, and a Teen..
-Legacy File. I'll put up a link in my signature soon (once my misheard section of "Sugar, We're Goin Down" wears off), it's called the BarkerBat Legacy. Long explaination.

I tend to have loud opinions. So sorry. I got tons of issues, lol. I can also be found on Yahoo! Answers.

3 current families: 2 for fun and one for the samoht's Reincarnation Project.
2 inactive families: The Forum Sims Grab Bag and my Immortal Dynasty that I may or may not ever finish.

Aside from the clone challenge, I have one in Twinbrook as my casual game - it was originally my Career Caps challenge couple which I failed, but they ended up with rather impressive stats and one of them is thisclose to getting a level 3 visa in China. At some point I plan to temporarily turn one of them into a male so that they can have a nooboo or 3 (hopefully with some hidden traits, hehe), and maybe move them into Riverview - I was hoping to get Hidden Springs when it was on sale last weekend and move them there, but I'm having issues with the regular Sims 3 store and by the time I found a workaround it wasn't on sale anymore.

I have another unofficial legacy-style game in Riverview that I definitely plan to get back to at some point (the heir just gave birth to generation 5), but there's a lot of lag and I'm not good at building so their house has all sorts of pathing issues - I haven't touched that one in months. Oh, and there's also a retirement home challenge I created for myself with 2 YAs and 6 elders, with the ultimate goal being to rack up as many happiness points as possible for the elders before they either die or earn the right to drink the young again potion and move out - I will likely go back to that once I'm bored of the Twinbrook game. Maybe I'll write it up as a miscellaneous story/unofficial challenge, we'll see.

I have many other save files that I will probably never go back to and should just delete, including my Bridgeport test file - I like the town, but it just takes too long to get anywhere. Certain ones will stay though, like one or two of my earliest games. Then of course there are the immortal and deca-dynasty files which don't exist just yet, but I'm sure will at some point since I've planned them out.  :P

I'm totally new to sim type games, so this is a new experince for me.  I only have the base game, Sunset and the free download, Riverview.  I have this hang-up that if I don't like the way it is going, instead of trying to fix it, I just tear it down and start all over again, learning from my mistakes.
So, that has been a lot (for me) of create a town and then deleting it, at least twenty probably much more of them.  Right now, I have I think two in Sunset and two in Riverview.  In Riverview is my favorite couple, Alexis and George, who I hope to do several generations on.
My main thing has been learning how to build houses, one story, not ready to do two story ones, and find I don't like not being able to see that floor anyhow.  And to try out new careers and then deleting them as I find I don't like them.  Such as the doctor one, she never had any free time to make friends since she was always on call and exhausted.
So, playing right now, my artist/law enforcement couple, an author, gem collector, gardener, and I think I still have another author or it could be artist one.
I want to get Lunar City (right name?) and play that one, it looks like it will be fun.  Also, pets sounds like fun, I love animals but it will go on hold for a bit before I can get that one.

I am planning to start a new town family today with my sim and her adopting children, that would be fun to do and see how far I can go there.  I just have to decide which town I want to do that in.  Sunset is the prettiest town, but I like the townies in Riverview better.  Or I can do one in both, that sounds like fun also   ;D

Right now, two towns, and four or five families.  Plan to  have it go up to five or more towns and have at least three in each town, not a lot to some I guess.

Boy I am really behind! Haha. Is it sad that all I really plan on, other than legacy, and dynasty challenges is to just play with my one family and the generations that follow that family?

I... play a lot of files at once. It's a guilty pleasure, haha. I have a file in Lunar Lakes and Starlight Shores to just explore the towns. I have my Immortal Dynasty, my Legacy, my Townie DecaDynasty, my Waldron story, and a file for getting the SimPort rewards. I also frequently start and delete files. My favorite part of the game is the beginning (advancing through the career and improving the house). So that's... 7 files!

Interesting how we have different interest in the game!
I have 2 families and way too many saved files - dynasty in UC where I save every Sim day, so being on a 6. week it is a lot of saves. Other is Buznik family in several  worlds, for testing purposes, casual play and everything else. I have few user created worlds, but I don't really play them after checking them out so technically I keep installing only UC and small flat (and ugly) island for quick load/test/build.

hellere12x,

I don't think it is sad.  Everyone does things differently.  My son follows your style, create a family and stay with them until he finishs the goal he has.
Me, I have a quirk that when I find I have made what I see as a good size mistake, I delete the game and start a new sim, and hopefully a new family that I can continue with.
The goal; to play however you find it enjoyable, what makes it fun is your way, not someone elses way. There is, in my opinion, no set correct way.
