Sell Death Flower?

Hi,
I read the "Legacy Rules" and it says that you may not keep a Death Flower in inventory, but you may sell them.  To whom do you sell them if you wanted to?  I sold some produce at the grocery store, but the Death Flower is still in inventory.

I noticed that same rule and thought it was odd.  The only way I've been able to sell a Death Flower is through an opportunity.  It's worth nothing if you sell it from inventory and you can't sell it at a store.  However, there's a gardening opportunity to grow a Death Flower for a Sim in town and you'll be paid for completing the opportunity.

OK, I'll stop trying to sell it to everybody then!  Thanks, Pam.  I'll keep the flower in the fridge.
I've just started a "legacy" game, for the first time, and am having one heck of a time keeping up with everything without cheats!  It sure changes the way you play!  LOL!

I've not read the rules, but could you not move the Death flower into the family inventory and just leave it there? That way it can't be used by any of your Sims and you aren't waiting around for the opportunity to show up? And when it does you have a Death flower at hand, ready for sale.

True, the Death Flower itself has zero value, but you can make money from it in the gardening opportunity.  And the reason this whole thread came up is because of the Legacy Family rules that state you cannot keep a Death Flower in your inventory, but can sell it.
