Oh My Goodness! Now my Sim won't feed, snuggle or ANYTHING else with her baby!

Hi again Everyone,

Now that my first problem with not being able to play one of my families is fixed...NOW, I'm having a problem with another family! I keep trying to make my Sim feed, play, and snuggle with one of her children, but she won't do it. The command will pop at the top and then disappear. I tried resetting her and the baby, but nothing gives.

Is the crib CC or is the mom wearing anything that is CC?

3rd Party CC is items not created by EA (someone else could give a better description, it's so late in NZ it's early). Does the Sim have any clothing on her you downloaded from the internet? Or was the crib downloaded?

I would try Reset Sim on the baby or the mother or both just in case.  I've had this problem with cribs and the swing off and on since Pets came out.  Is the option to hold the baby there?  If it is, try hold the baby then do everything else.  I would still try to reset them both though just in case.   Also, I would buy a new crib.

@Seabody ...Nope, nothing is downloaded.

@Ricalynn ...I tried resetting them. I'm not sure if I did it correctly though. I did, without the quotations, "resetSim Mia Bentley" for the baby and "resetSim Seoul Bentley" for the mother. I kept getting the same result...nothing.

And actually, the baby was on the floor when I changed Active Households to that family. Initially, I thought the Sim was obeying the commands because the baby was real close in between two chairs and a doll house, but once I moved them out the way...it still didn't work. Luckily, I was able to get the father to put the baby in the crib, but I still can't get both the mother and father to do anything else. So no I'm just left with using the 'Make All Happy' option :-/

Furthermore, I changed Active Households again to another family and I'm having the same problem with them. I'm now worried that if I keep using 'Make All Happy' that another problem with begin. This is starting to become a headache.

Maybe try a blanket ResetSim *  and that should reset everyone in the town.  The way you know it's working is that every Sim in your current household will make a jump and lose their entire action queue.   I would still buy a new crib/swing/whatever for each house just to make sure.
