@ bshag, I've been on and off the EA website today...but did not see anything about a "new" patch being released.  Are you talking about the one that came out when WA was released?

@Arafel, I would post a pic up for you of the other free items...but as usual the EA website is all hosed up right now, keep getting an error when I try to go to the store page.  So even if you weren't at work, you wouldn't be able to get those darn free items right now...gosh I wish that website ran better!  Usually when the website is acting crazy, they are updating the site.  Normally that is on Thursday night, which explains why I had trouble yesterday...but doesn't explain tonight.  Maybe more stuff in the works??

Sorry for the confusion guys...I need for EA to come out with a new patch fixing the download on the launcher as mine is broken until they DO come out with a new one.  I only wish I knew when.  I'm hoping a new patch will accompany the stuff pack coming out next month.  Got fingers crossed...

Bunches of people have broke launchers since the in-game store thingy.

OK, just registered my new High-End Loft Stuff and it said to redeem my free gifts...so it took me to the store and I wasn't sure what the gifts were, as they never advertised what they were...but anyway I found this set for free:

Not sure if that set is for when you purchase the new SP or not, but you all can give it a try, it's only 2 items ..Party Flamingo Wall Lamp and Surreal Grilled Cheese Painting.

Edit:  Just checked the EA Website, looks like this is another free item they are offering for their 10th Anniversary Celebration! 



Also, just thought I would mention EA seems to have made another mistake in the store  , but when you register your new SP it also gives you 1000 free Sim points for the store...I read a thread the other day on the EA forum and a Guru said it was an error that was supposed to be corrected, but ahem...I got my 1000 free Sim points just a minute ago...so yeah if you have the new SP better get it registered and get the mother-lode in points!

I just got the points in the store, less than an hour ago...did you just try now?  

You need to access your purchase history in the store and after it makes your login again...I think a button popped up that says redeem your free points.  I only found the points by accident...I was stumbling through the store trying to figure out what free items it was talking about...but I think it was the points!
