This New Years set is a little...Skimpy. Decorative champain and glasses, and some balloons.  :( The new sets are very cool though. It's a loungy bedroom set with new nighttime clothes, and a log cabin, woodsy themed living room.

Here's the links for both sets:

PS: Is it bad that the Cabin set's painted saw reminds me of my grandmother? She dose the same thing with old saws. ::)

Not bad at all! lol

I want both of those sets but no way can do for now.  I love the lounge wear.

Just got more T-mobile stuff.  The bar is not high on my list with all the bars already available but the tables and chair are pretty cool.  I like the T shirt too.
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!

I put the individual lounge undies/bra on my wishlist, seperate from the whole set (by going through home decor) but for some reason they're under swimwear, not bed wear. :S

In the news section of the Sims 3 official website they put this:

Feeling Festive? Time to brush off those winter sweater's and celebrate with The Sims 3 Store!

Check back to the Store often as the festivities will last all-month long, including a special New Year's surprise!

Be sure to update your wish list before the celebrations begin, we would like to know what you are looking for this holiday season! Help us to spread the holiday charm by gifting other Simmers or by using the Store's Refer-A-Friend program, we'll be able to tell who has been naughty or nice...Who knows? Maybe be some Simmers will be lucky enough to Win Your Wishlist!

I am not sure how that will work.

Then on Facebook they posted an event.  Here are the details:

"It's December and The Sims team is bouncing with holiday cheer! Share your WishList links on our Wall (Facebook or Event Wall) everyday and you could be randomly gifted by a SimGuru or another community member. Feel free to post your WishList every day until the end of the event, you never know if you have a secret gifter out there!

For those of you on Twitter, you could also @reply your URL to us here: www.twitter.com/TheSims3.

Invite your friends to join us for this month-long gifting event!

Checklist:

* Update your WishList with the latest and greatest ITEMS of The Sims 3 Store.
* Post your URL on our Facebook Wall often until the end of the Event.
* Check your Private Messages to see if you were randomly selected to receive an item from your WishList!"

The event runs December 8, 2010 to January 11, 2011.  I know I will be posting my wishlist everyday. :)

I got a gift from SimGuruPopTart!  It was only 25 simspoints, but I am not complaining.  I love free things.  Now I need to play and use my new toddler hair.  :)

I went through and gifted quite a few things to other people, I didn't see you on the list though.  I must have not gone back far enough.  Did you post on the wall or on the Event page?  I gifted off the Event page.  I was cheap, 25 simpoint items.  But a free gift is free!

Just a quick note, I have posted my wishlist in the morning when I wake up and then again before I go to bed.  So far I have been gifted twice from the SimGuru's.  It really works!  Both items have only been 25 simpoint.  But I don't care!  lol

Does anyone know if there's a discount code for SimPoints for December?
