I was disapointed to see no bonus points. I was, and therefore still am, just 25 points away of that beautiful Gothic furniture. And I don't have payball, or what it's called.

I was a bit gutted really at the lack of free points. I'm on 575 and I was hoping for a free 1000 because I had my eye on a few sets. I'm also far too tight fisted to spend actual money buying, for all intents and purposes, imaginary money.

So, found this thread on the official forums today.  There seems to be a glitch at the Store, either intentional or unintentional by EA.  On page 57, from 7/2/2010, a user named Walden95 links to a free Happy Holidays Set on the store, but inside this set is apparently a sports car, the Montalcino Fandango SE.  I've added it for download later, but cannot confirm it works properly until I get home.  Seems the holiday presents set you can get to from the left navigation bar only has 6 items, and not the car.

I downloaded and installed the set. The car shows up in my Buy Mode! Nice find Archer!

The car was supposed to be for people that got the Holiday Edition and was it's own download and then the presents were supposed to be an additional download.

I also went through all the items that were posted in the thread (yeah.. lots of free time). The only items not listed in this thread are the Paris Wall Clock and Perfecto Presto! coffee maker. The only this is, the coffee maker is in-game store only and I can't figure out how to get it to download. Help! I really like how it looks.

I have the collectors edition and I never figured out how to get that dang car, so thanks for this
Side note: just found out that items can be installed to your game while you have the game actually open, and the items appear in buy mode without having to restart.  Kinda neat.
