Chapter 3: Kids
Alice

Being the youngest in a huge family, I always loved spending time with my brothers and sisters. Some of my friends would’ve died for a family as big as mine. Having a brother or sister really does help pass the time, and I was glad that soon Hailey and Issy would be spending time together like I did with my siblings.
Issy’s toddler birthday came by surprise. We had a small gathering with friends and colleagues.


I went and dressed Issy in the really awesome clothes I bought. She looks very cute!



Daniel loves Issy. He was walking around holding her during the party. They look very alike and very cute.

Hailey invited Issy to play with the dolls with her and she loved it. I can feel a good friendship coming on but for some reason I don’t think it will last. Something is just pulling on my leg telling me it will happen and it ain’t Issy.

Daniel is slowing progressing in his career. The more gigs he does the more money we get and the closer he gets to Level 10. The money helps to the expansion we are working on. We are making a second storey for the girls’ bedrooms and a new kitchen.

Daniel had a day off work (really just couldn’t get a gig) so he spent it with me out and about. We went to Lounge de Laker and took a few photos in the photo booth.

We also spent a great deal of our time there dancing with eachother to the pounding music. Sadly, the only other person there was a Mixologist.

Issy is a very smart girl. She tried to walk by herself so she could leave the house. I stopped her but still taught Issy how to walk. She enjoyed it almost as much as I did.

Hailey’s birthday snuck up on us but we were able to get her new room all ready.

We threw a party but for some reason no one has been paying any attention to the cake! They don’t celebrate or eat. Just leave unhappy.

Her hair straight away grew out all fuzzy and all over the place.

I first worked on fixing her hair. Very few people can have that hairstyle and look good. Then she designed a few patterns for her clothes! I was very very proud of my child. I hope both my kids will make me proud.

Thank you. Usually I just throw a random pattern on and if I like it recoloured with their favourite colour, I keep it.

Chapter 4, Part 1: Extravaganza Birthday
Daniel

Hailey has made Alice and I proud. She is very good with art and has been creating a few pieces to hang around the house. She’s so skilled that she reminds me of Mum.

Alice insisted on us all going out to the park and relaxing. I was hesitant at first but then let my inner child out. I hung out on the swings for the day.

Hailey tried out all the equipment before getting tired before resorting to the sand pit. She seemed to enjoy her time.

Alice stuck with Issy and threw her onto the spring rider before teaching her to talk.


I’ve been doing as many performances as I can. Everyone seems to enjoy watching my acrobatics. I finally got into the Ultimate Venue, the biggest and most expensive venue in Riverview.

Issy’s Birthday comes around and it was probably one of the best days ever. I entered a Simfest, Hailey had Ballet Auditions, Issy had her birthday and Alice had to host a party all by herself.

Alice wasn’t very happy when a crowd this big turned up and Hailey and I called saying we couldn’t come.

And it was a good thing we didn’t come as we both got trophies! I won Simfest and Hailey got the lead part.


My day didn’t stop there. I was off to a gig and that gig was the gig I needed to become a Level 10 Acrobat. I feel so accomplished!

Alice brought Issy to the cake just before Hailey got home and hours before me. But even with all the guests, no one wanted to celebrate. How rude!

But all that fun was to end. Because just after Issy got her new clothes, tragedy struck. And the extravaganza birthday was ruined for most of us.

Chapter 4, Part 2: Relationship Breakdown
Hailey/Issy

I hate her! She’s such a self-centred manipulative little ahh! I hate her so much!
Just look at her! Her clothes make her look so sweet, adorable, cute and innocent but she definitely isn’t innocent. Look at her! Some her clothes are all pink and cute and she’s tricking everyone into playing by her snobby rules.

It may have been her birthday but that was no reason to ruin my perfect day so far. I thought I would be nice and kind and sweet like I am and show Issy some of my ballet moves but she was so rude to me about it! She first called my costume dull and boring and said it needed some colour. The nerve of her. But I still showed her what I had learnt.

I wish I hadn’t.
Hailey: So what do you think? How was I?
Issy: I thought you were okay.
Hailey: Okay?
Issy: Actually I thought you were so bad that I wanted to throw up!

Issy: You looked like a llama that’s dying, or even worse, a ballerina with no skill.
My eyes were teary at this point and my anger was growing.
Issy: You’re arms were flailing everywhere and your legs were a. Hey where are you going?
Hailey: You know what! If you can be half as good as me at ballet, you can be the heir!
I ran off crying towards the stairs to go get Mum or Dad. I hate Issy. We were friends but now our relationship is over.

Hey everyone! It’s your favourite Laker, Issy! My birthday was just the best! I got these awesome new clothes. How cute, adorable, sweet and innocent do I look?

Hailey insisted on showing me her ballet skills but let me tell you, she can’t dance! Her ballet outfit looks terrible aswell. I can’t believe she actually enjoys wearing it.

She asked me to tell her what I thought so I did. And she cried and ran off saying that if I was half as good as her at ballet I could be the heir.

So I walked off to the computer to sign up for ballet. Sadly I’ll be wearing the hideous outfit but, if it means being the heir and breaking Hailey’s heart, I’m all for it.
