Prologue

I had left Twinbrook to start a new life. Twinbrook was becoming too scary for me. Dad, Mum and Grandpa stayed but they were careful about arranging my flight. They tricked me into landing in Appaloosa Plains first before heading to my new surprise town. They wanted me to see Chelsea.

I don’t think I’ve introduced myself yet. I am Daniel Lakers, the amazing!

Mum had Chelsea’s address but it seems she had already left for Union Cove as a huge arena was on her lot. I planned on staying with Chelsea but since I couldn’t now, I bunked in at a small cottage for a small fee.

I went exploring for a bit when I found the pool. She was there. The Lady of the Pool was swimming defending Excalibur from anyone who wanted it. Her name was Alice, Alice Lockwood.


I was able to trick her out of the pool for a talk. And I realized, I loved her.

With a smooch we were now a couple, a pair, a team. We were off to the local Coffeehouse on our first date.

We tried out the Karaoke machine but I have to say, she was a much better singer than me. I invited her over to the cottage to stay the night. She happily accepted.
My family were full of on the spot proposals so I couldn’t break the tradition. I proposed to Alice and she accepted. My life was getting better and better.

The next morning I set up a few decorations outside and before we could undress into our usual clothes.

And soon Alice was mine. And we were off to a surprise destination to start a new Legacy. And a Random one if that.

Thanks Fez. School is nearly done for the term so updates should be coming often. Besides, the two kids are cute!

Chapter 1: Love
Alice

Love is an odd thing. I didn’t think I’d be finding it on my graduation holiday but I did. I found my current husband and father of my children. That vacation was soon over and it was time for life. Daniel and I were soon off from our vacations and we were headed to Riverview. There we bought a small two bedroom cottage. Small changes were made straight away and some things will be changed overtime.

Daniel was a spare in his family’s legacy, but that wouldn’t stop him. He and I are to start out own Legacy. One that will be random, improvised, fun. And the first step is to bring in the next generation.

Daniel and I each got ourselves a job. Daniel is now an Acrobat (Dynamic Daniel) while I am employed at the theatre. We both headed down to the park to play for some extra money. We were poor. We only had some of the spare cash Daniel’s Mum gave him.

Our first dinner was very well-cooked. Daniel practised his acrobatics while I cooked up some Mac and Cheese. We loved it.

But the next morning, I found out I was pregnant. It wasn’t a surprise but I immediately went to go find Daniel. He was playing for tips in his miming costume. Didn’t think miming had anything to do with acrobatics but I guess I am wrong.

When I told him the good news, he was ecstatic! He took me to the place where we had our first date but the Riverview version. We had a really nice Dunch or Linner.


Soon Daniel is steadily improving in his career and he is off on tour. He goes off for half a day and returns with money and a smile on his face. I did get a fright when I woke up and only a note was besides me. Thought it was some threat about Daniel.

At twilight I could feel that the baby was coming. Luckily, Daniel was with me as we were just going out. He rushed me off to the hospital.

We returned home and set up all the baby furniture. My little daughter was born. My little Hailey. And if anyone was to hurt her, they’re messing with the wrong mother because, I love her.

Chapter 2: Angels
(Dynamic) Daniel

Life has been easy, relaxing and sweet. But I can feel with me progressing up the Acrobat Career and Hailey being born that life is going to change.
My first gig is at the local park and it wasn’t my best work but I performed quite well.

Alice was just heading out for a morning stroll with Hailey when she noticed she was gaining a few kilos around the waist. Turns out we are expecting the second child. Alice is very excited and when Hailey found out, well she had no idea what was happening but was laughing excitedly anyway.

My week is filled with a few more gigs and a tour. My favourite gig was the one at the coffeehouse, Fresh Meals and Coffee. Alice brought Hailey and watched.


Saturday rolls around and we celebrate Hailey’s birthday. No party for my first angel but we still got her cake.

Alice shows Hailey her first present, new clothes. Hailey was ecstatic!

But, Hailey’s other present was to come later on. I was just about to go out to a gig when Alice felt it was time for Hailey’s little sibling to arrive.

We rushed to call a babysitter and took a taxi to the hospital where we welcomed my second angel, Issy Lakers.

My two children are my angels, my life. And it is my job to protect them and hope they stay angelic for many many years to come.
