Skillbook Success

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but everything that is recorded in your skillbook has a direct influence upon the success of the action. EG: percentage of fish cost: 100% = $$$ while 2%= $

Your example is very confusing—unless you meant to say % of fish caught.

If it is as Metropolis said it is, caught, then I'll ask if you're sure that's the factor of more cash? What did you test it on? Cause I know one of the main factor for fish price (other than Comercial Fisherman skill challenge) is the Number of X fish caught. That is, the more Deathfish you've caught, the more the weight and cost of the fish. And is it right to generalize that all skills have something inside that has a direct influence upon the money gained or success of an action? Yea, most of them, but not Athletic skill and Charisma skill.

I think the more paintings you have painted the higher your price range for future paintings, so if you mean the more times you perform a skill the higher the value of what you get out of it (if you do get anything  ;))

Well, not sure if that is true or not, but my sim that has painted all of those masterpieces and gorgeous painting, all of a sudden throws in a painting worth 400 or 250.  I am thinking, what is up with that.  Like that squirrel painting, not worth much, considering she just got through painting a 2000.00 painting and upwards.  So, maybe random in some cases, not sure what it is.
Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny?

Sorry, I mean % of fish total fish that have been caught. If you have just started, then you would have caught 0% of catchable fish. But once you have caught one of every fish, then you have caught 100%. Which, in turn, provides better catches.

It's true. The more you paint the higher the value will get and I haven't seen everyone reach the very end of it. With writing it is the same. For the rest, I have not tested it. You can just assume by the way that the more a sim actually does something the better he gets at it. Martial arts and cooking, too. Your waffles can be much better than my lobster if you made it more than I do. Also: if your sims meditate more, you can notice his concentration get a higher number (if I am saying that correctly) and I have noticed that a sim with a high concentration can win more at chess in a chess battle while he or she doesn't neccesarly have to be at level 10. What else it does, I don't know.

Thank you. But I can't remember which word I've misspelled reading my post again. :(
