Help!!!! New Patch problems!

Hi,

I recently purchased the sims 3 hidden springs and thus had to update through the launcher in order to download it, however I immediately noticed rather unpleasent problems.

Firstly the latest patch has been downloading for the last 3 days! (Everytime the download completes itself it restarts the downloading process with no message or warning)
Secondly if I cancel the download and try to play the game the following things happen :

#1 It loads perfectly until I try to start a new game in Hidden Springs
#2 Once in hidden springs when I try to move one of my  pre-made families in the following problems start:

Scenario #1 Once you have placed a pre-made family/house on the plot and clicked continue it keeps "loading" for hours on end until you are finally forced to terminate the game.

Scenario #2 Family/House places and loads perfectly in 10 seconds however all "menus" (for lack of a better word) are missing until the master cheat is applied.

In Scenario #2 You can play with little or no problems (besides the lack of "menus") for between 1 or 5 minutes after loading before a blue screen appears and the computer crashes.

I am running:

Intel Core i7 CPU 2.66GHz
8 GB RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
nVidia GeForce GTX 280
+/- 2.5 Tb free space

Hardware wise I upgraded my RAM to 8GB a week or so ago, however no problems accured on any game or program until I started downloading through the sims 3 launcher.

I have all the latest drivers for my computer and my specs far exceed the minimum requirements.
I have no custom content or MODS (I have only downloaded items off the official sims 3 store)
I have all games excluding Showtime, Outdoor living, Town Life and Master Suite.

I really dont understand what the problem is and how I can fix it.
Please any help would be gratefully appreciated

The last patch is a very big one and maybe your connection is giving up on it before it downloads it completely.

I would guess your problems with Hidden Springs are because your game is not patched properly.

Ok, after spending two days trying to figure out exactly what the problem is, I have discoverd some additional info. My launcher seams to be the base problem. It gives me a script error every time it opens:

I also discovered that I am only patched up to 1.26.089 so my launcher has obviously had this problem with updating for a while.

I was also using a crack so I didnt have to use my disk all the time, so I completely uninstalled and re installed and Im trying to patch manually since launcher is still giving me problems even after reinstall.

I am also from south africa so I tried downloading the worldwide versions of the patches which didnt work so Im now trying the digital versions.

FIXED!!!!! deleted eawebkit.dll in the game bin repatched from 1.29 and everything is working like a dream  I did back up the eawebkit.dll in case more problems accure later but it looks like its all fixed!
