How do you gamble?

I was looking on the SimsVIP and it said gambling was a hidden skill with showtime.

I think it has to do with playing pool.

Gambling may have to do with the latest store item which is a casino that has a poker table and I think, (but don't know for sure), other gambling things to do.  I just got it and haven't played with it yet but I'm betting that's why gambling was a hidden trait.

Gambling is now a skill with the new Casino venue. Don't think it's an actual non-hidden skill unless you have the venue.

There are baccarat, (black jack), tables and slot machines, (or maybe they are just more game stuff like pinball), but not much else.  There is a small "stage" but not a real ST stage, several bars and some chairs.  Definitely open for improvement.  I was wrong on the poker tables.

I'm toying with it, and it looks like a legit skill, though when it pops up in the skill box there are no skill challenges.  My sim has the lucky trait, but I'm not sure it helps since his first visit got him a -20 cold slot and -20 losing streak.  Playing does up the fun meter really quick though. He gained two levels on one play of 100 simoleons on the slots.

ps. and I don't have Showtime.

So far all I've seen is blackjack and slot machines. Now it would be great to have baccarat and "hopefully" dice. Hey, getting to far ahead of EA.
Using mods, my sim had the hidden trait for gambling (before the casino); then I gave him an advanced skill (mods) for gambling. He was able to 'hack' the blackjack table and the slot machine to get better rewards! He's going to buy the Casino.
