Wonderful! I'd really like to play in this town, but I'm not sure if that would be possible. :-\

Couldn't you make the save file available for download like Naga does with his remake of Sunset Valley?

Thank you but, here's the thing I am 13 and not a computer wiz I don't know exactly how to do this. But once I finish building the town I will try to do this.

So today I will cover a new neighborhood and the historical district. An odd combo, I know.
Lets start with the new neighborhood. Made for more wealthy Sims but not mansions. The name of the neighborhood is Arlington Crest.
Arlington Crest Road is located off Tiffic Street right after Cranberry Lane. Its a smaller neighborhood but still very nice.

I know I know this house is kind of dinky. But its just a transition from Tiffic Square to Arlington Crest.  Its still a lovely house though.

Next up is a more regal home...

Sorry about the misplaced mailbox and garbage can! This home is 4 bedroom 2 full baths and has beds to fit 8 Sims. Wow some house.
Bedrooms are on the small side though.

Across the street is...

This super modern cube house!!! One of the fanciest on Arlington Crest Road.
Now we are getting into the pricey beach view homes. Get out your wallets Sims!

This is a regal Navy Blue and White home. 6 bedrooms 2 baths. Bedrooms are on the bigger side but not HUGE. Corner lot with a lovely beach view and the fragrance of salt water and ocean breeze.

This is the Salmon house. Very family oriented with a great fenced in backyard with trampoline, pool, barbeque and picnic table. Has 4 bedrooms on the small side and 2 bath (one upstairs one ground level) and a large bonus room with sliding doors to the fenced in yard.
Has palm trees and is a corner lot also in view of the beach.

Comes Semi decorated. My personal favorite of this neighborhood.

Now for the historical district.
Name: Linoleum Hotel and Store
Location: Tiffic Street
Purpose: If you are in this area of town and you like to be freaked out then you might want to book a room at the Linoleum Hotel. In the ground floor there is a small consignment shop. Good luck! P.S doesn't have windows...

Next is the...
Name: Ye Olde Library
Location: Tiffic Street.

Doesn't have as many books as the modern libraries but it has the whole olde experience.

Now for the scariest of them all...
Name: Grim Family Farm
Location: Tiffic Street.

The ruins of the Grim family farm lay here. The Grim family was whipped out in a tornado but some how... their farm survived. Which raises the question are the Grim's Really Gone? If your a curious Sim I would suggest to avoid this lot. If you need to see it... drive by quickly, and don't walk your dog around it or in the lot. You have been warned.

Tell me what ya'll think! And once again if ANYONE has ANY idea how to upload this world to the exchange.  Thanks!

Awesome! You're such a good builder. I love the salmon house and farm, too, but the navy blue house is wonderful as well.

I really like all the houses. The historical district sounds interesting. You are doing a great job with this town! However, I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it is not possible to upload worlds that aren't created in Create-a-World to the Exchange for the time being. I think the only way to share this world with the community is to upload the save file (the corresponding folder found in (My) Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Saves) to a free file sharing site like Mediafire or 4shared and then sharing the link. If you need any help with this, you should start a separate thread like loveSims has suggested.

You're doing a great job. All the houses are very nice but I really like the Grim family farm for some reason.  ;)

Today I built 3 wonderful homes in the Arlington Crest neighbor hood. 2 of the 3 homes are not actually on Arlington Crest Road they are on the Eastern part of Paprika Island Way. Okay... lets take a look...

Name: Best of Both Worlds Ranch
Description: For those Sims that want to be able to see the beach yet have the freshness of the forest and mountains.
Location: Arlington Crest Road next to the Modern Cube home

Front yard view above...

Next is my 2 homes on Paprika Island Way...

Ok what do you think totally ugly or super cool? Seriously what do you think... this is your change to say "Wow that really sucks!" Ha ha ha...  you won't hurt my feelings I kinda think its ugly.

Next door to the Ugly-Awsome House is a home I am very proud of. It is the ultimate Sim Family House.
Has 2 bathrooms, 4 large bedrooms. Fully furnished...
I put a lot of work in this house and I am going to show you the inside.

Front view.

Side

View from back yard.

Has large living room and has plenty of room to put other furniture. Also, there is a sliding door to the back yard.

Wide open kitchen with 6 person dining room and washer dryer.
Now for the upstairs...

We have the master bedroom and one of the kids rooms (or teen). And then the kids playroom.

Now a nursery for 2. The 2 bathrooms. And another kids or teen bedroom.

I hope you liked my houses! Thanks for the comments.

I think all the houses look great!
If at first you don't succeed, call it version 1.0.
