What a charming little neighborhood! I love your writing, it really makes me laugh. The town is so full of personality! ;D
Thank you! I try to get people to a least smile when reading it.
I love it! It is supercute. ;)
Thank you! It kind of looks like the neighborhood I live in LOL!
:O really nice! Will there be any mansions in the town?  ;)
Of coarse! They will have a neighborhood all its own. I love the mansions, but I find them SO much harder to build!
I wish I could try something as good as this myself :)
Well you can try it without posting and if it turns out then  you can post it to the forum. Thank you though!

Its a random entry today. We are jumping all over town filling in gaps here and there.
We will start with the Military base.
Name: Hiding Hills Military Base
Location: On Hiding Hills (no street connecting) Its a top secret base.

The military keeps a close eyes on  this side of Paprika Island.

Now we jump to Palms-Ahead Road. This is were the muckrakers go to work writing juicy stories and reporting the bland news.
Name:  Scoop Incorporated
Tabloids: The Paprika Press (local newspaper) and the Simlebrity (gossip magazine)
Location: Palms-Ahead Road Downtown Arena Heights. Placed strategically near the Pink Piano and All that Funk for easy celebrity access.

Now the Sports Arena!
Name: Paprika Spices Arena
Sport Played: Ultimate Frisbee (I am not sure if I spelled that right)
Team Name: Paprika Spices
Mascot: Paco the Paprika (that's not lame at all  ;D)
Colors: Orange and White
Location:  North Palms-Ahead Road

Also on Palms-Ahead road is a small park
Park Name: City Escape

Which is right next to a...

Jumbo Penthouse Apartment Building
Name: Palms-Ahead Suit

(That's just from ground level)

And lastly for this entry is a alternative school
Name: New World Education
Colors: Navy and White
Mascot: A Book
Private School
Location: Palms-Ahead Road next to Palms-Ahead Suit.

I have to fill in gaps because I need room for the Sims 3 Pets which I should be getting some time this week. I am going to add the Pets into this town as well.

Thanks for reading!

I felt like all the names and areas and stuff became kind of confusing so I decided to post this map. Its just off the things I have covered + street and area names. Here is it...

Hope it helps a bit.

The town is indeed coming along very nicely. What are you going to call it? (sorry if I've missed it) Also, thank you for inspiring me to begin working on my own town; I'm not going to post about it on here but it's a very enjoyable process nevertheless. I hope mine turns out as great as yours!

Thank you! Nope you haven't missed anything, I did not name the town yet. I plan on naming it at the end. Well I would love to see how yours turns out, if you want you can post a couple of the best pictures on this tread.

Thanks! Ha ha ha, the book seemed to fit the dull atmosphere of the school.

I love them! I just built a house for my legacy, but I hate how it turned out. I wish I could have someone build it for me.

-Ahem-

I'm a little late but would love to build a home for you.. I can see you already made one but you can move, right? Right...? I love building for you, as you can see. :P

Also, feel free to request a home by PMing me! Always happy to help.

Hey guys I'm taking an extended hiatus... again. I'm out of ideas to build houses and I don't have as much fun designing homes like I used to; it feels more like a chore. So that's where I'll be, I will probably be back sometime. :P

We are moving out of the city and into the Country! Well... kind of. Today I will show your the transition building and businesses on the way out to the country.

First off is the more country oriented stores
Name: Cathy's Coffee and Cake Cafe next to the store Cabbage Cart Customs (no this is not a custom cabbage cart builder its a produce market)
Location: Palms-Ahead Road

Now the Country like plaza...
Buildings in plaza: Theater, Bookstore, Grocery Store.
Name: Fancy Rose Theater, Ben's Den Bookstore, Farmers Food Club.
Location: Corner of Tiffic Street and Palms-Ahead Road to the left of Cathy's.

Note: In the picture above the road glitched a little.

Then we have a little museum
Name: Farmers in the Field: Local History of the Farmers and horse riders before us. Its kind of boring...
Location: Tiffic Street

Jumping north on Palms-Ahead Road we have a lovely park...
Name: Green Grass Dog Park
Location: North on Palms-Ahead Road right on the outskirts of Downtown Arena Heights

Now we have another Subway stop... with a twist
Name: Pony Express: Traveler's Pit-stop
Location: Corner of Palms-Ahead Road and Nay-Hay Way

Has 1 subway terminal and pet food and drink stations.

Here is the map of this area so things don't get confusing

On the corner of Lovely Lane and Beachy Lane...
Name: Opalhill Gardens

For those aspiring riders...
Name: I.R.C (International Riding Club)
Location: Lovely Lane

Now for the housing...
First off the Large Ranch
Location: Lovely Lane
Features: 2 indoor horse stalls and 2 outdoor horse stalls, across street from I.R.C

Now for the people who want the best of both worlds. Country Urban mix.
Location: Beachy Lane
Features: Close to City yet close to country. Has barn and closed in horse training ground.

This is the family farm house that you will want to inherit. Placed on a large lot that has plenty of room for a large garden.
Location: Beachy Lane

A little out of the way...
Location: Overlook Lane

Here is the view
