Babies Getting Stuck in Cribs?

I don't know if there are any threads about this but it seems to be a bug. I have never encountered it before. My adult sims cannot pick their baby up from in it's crib, but this only happens some of the time. I haven't noticed any pattern as to when it happens and when it doesn't. ResetSim works to get the baby out of the crib and onto the floor, then the parents can interact with it just fine and are able to put it back into it's crib. I have tried selling the crib, using the other type of crib, moving it around, etc. Nothing is blocking it, and since the Sims can get to the baby sometimes it isn't a pathing issue. Has anyone encountered this? I have all expansions and stuff packs but I have not yet purchased Showtime. At the time that this bug started happening, I was patched up to the patch that was released prior to Showtime. The save file is in Lunar Lakes, I have no mods and absolutely no custom content. I do have quite a lot of store content. Also, I play on a Mac. I have not checked to see if this is happening in other families or other save files.

I've had this happen a few times. Closing completely out of the game and then going back in seemed to take care of it for me.

Oh, I just remembered something. At times, if I just tell Momma Sim to "hold" the baby, she could do it. Then feed it or whatever once she's holding the nooboo.

Hmmm I think that might be whats happening actually. The only way to get it out of the crib is to just pick the baby up, but "feed bottle" or "play with" doesnt work if the baby is in the crib.

That happened for me to. The parents couldn't do anything at all :-(. I called a babysitter, and she ignored the toddler too. Both the parents wouldn't go to sleep either, because the toddler cried. The reset sim cheat worked :-)

This started with the 1.31 patch I believe...at least that's when I noticed it.  After patching, any time I put an infant into a crib, the crib became completely unusable.  If I reset the infant, the parents could interact with it and put it back in the crib, but once in there the crib became unusable again.

It happened to me before the patch...about when Pets came out I think.

This never happened to me before the 1.31 patch either. I just installed Showtime and patched again so maybe that will fix it.
