It's hard to think about this SP. It's coming June First, I think, and that's around the time i'm leaving 7th grade.

I'm thinking we'll get more information on this SP once the release date gets closer. Maybe we can make up our minds then? But to me, it sounds like it's a bigger SP than, Master Suite, Outdoor Living, High End Lot Stuff, Town Life and Fast Lane.

I don't care what the official forum thinks anyways, to be honest. I won't let anyone's opinion get in the way how I feel about this Stuff Pack. Like I said, what would be the point of TS3 if we have the exact same stuff, working the exact same way as it did in TS1 and TS2, right?

I don't visit the official forum.  I find it difficult to sift through all the nonsense to find something worthwhile, so I just don't bother.  However, if there is a group of players who feels that EA is ignoring their wishes by releasing this particular Stuff Pack, I think that's just silly.  Players have had a list of what they want out of Sims 3 since the first release in 2009.  EA has provided many of the things on that list so that seasons is just about the last one that we don't have.  Players wanted vampires and pets, and they got them.  In my opinion, EA is doing a nice job of both providing what players want and also introducing new concepts that we didn't think of.  We've still got a ways to go before Sims 3 is finished and my best advice to everyone is to enjoy what we already have and be patient for what's yet to come.

Personally, I'm not a fan of Katy Perry and I'm not thrilled with the content of this Stuff Pack.  But that's ok because there are lots of people who will absolutely love it.  Will I buy it anyway?  Yes, I will.  I'm going to buy every Expansion and Stuff pack for Sims 3 that EA produces.  I love the game and I want to see everything about it, even if I don't always love some of the content.

Also...  I'm going to call it Sweet Treats.

Totally agree Pam! I don't care what it is, I will buy it cause I have to have the complete collection. I'm all caught up for now, so I'm very happy about that!

I went outside today. It was pretty scary in the beginning as I had to use more sences than just my eyes and ears. But I can get used to it, once Ive leveled up a bit.

Pam I'm sorry if you think I'm being silly but I'm one of those players. I wasn't talking about the players in the "I want seasons (or OFB, or Uni) now!" group. I was talking about the players who want some interesting, substantial, new game play. There hasn't been a lot released for players who don't play families, legacies or are tired of the entertainment oriented careers.

As far as Sweet Treats, I find nothing in it that I'd ever use in a game. It makes me a little sad that I won't have a complete TS3 collection but I can't rationalize buying something I'd never use.

I agree with you on this. I went out and bought The Sims: Medieval because I heard it focused on strategy and role-playing, something I really love. After only a night of playing it, I've fallen in love with the game. It allows a different kind of play and a different view of The Sims 3.

On a serious note, unlike RunAmok, even if I don't ever use something, I still have to have it. The buildings in TLS is one example of something I never use, but I wasn't happy until I owned it. I tend to stick with a few items I use over and over, but just knowing something is out there that I don't own drives me crazy until I do get it. I know, I'm weird.

Yeah we're both weird haha. I just gotta remember before I play to eat sweets so I don't get a massive craving lol. Those bikini's are soo cute hehe.
