I don't hate her, I just don't like her persona and overall..personality. It seems a tad fake, and she wasn't like this when she was starting off her career. The SP confirmation just disapointed me,

I don't see a reason to completely hate her, but you are entitled to your opinion. Just because you hate someone's music doesn't mean you have to hate them as a person.

You're right, and I'm sorry if I upset you. I definitely won't be buying this Stuff Pack, but it's because I dislike Katy Perry as a brand, not a person. 

Anyway, I'll be interested to see what people do with the new trees and doors and windows. You could get some really cool worlds out of this EP!

You could always buy the SP anyways, and completely ignore the Katy Perry label. Simply buy it for the cool looking candyland themed stuff, and upgrades for UC. The Doll House and Sheen Household fit the items very appropriately.

They've already had a gum ball machine in the store, sold by itself.

Fez said there was a gumball machine, I have the one from the store, I love it. I love the clothes of this SP but mainly it's the items I'm drooling over. I love the peppermint stools, and all the other candy stuff lol.

*Discuss Shared Traits* Of course this is right up my alley as well! I think it's really cool looking, and I will be redecorating the Doll and Sheen house with this SP as soon as it's released! Possibly the Voice household as well! I mean, you have to admit, the thought of an orange purebred Persian lounging on the Ice Cream furniture is really cute. (Until he sheds all over it!)

Hehe and for the first time I might actually like trees blocking my view. I'm going to make a candy shop, ice cream shop thing with this. I love the door and most of the time I hate arches but I love the arch with this.

Katy Perry's CD came out before Lady Gaga's.

Doesn't mean she's better.  I think Katy Perry was stuck where she was until the Gaga came and blasted through to the front and that Perry is now riding the wake to get up front as well. Nothing wrong with that and good for her, I do think she is trying to be like Gaga as well. It seems she has become more eccentric now that Gaga is around.

Just so were clear, I love Katy Perry, but that's not the reason why I'm all over this SP. I like the frivolous themes, and Candyland Childish venues. I'm childish, so I'm naturally appealed to this no matter what. If this was Justin Bieber, I wouldn't get this in a million years. If this were Charlie Sheen, I'd buy this even if this were $70 USD! I don't think anyone in my area would by a Charlie Sheen EP/SP though! But everyone in my city booed him off stage, and demanded a refund.

What if it was all this same Candyland-themed stuff, but with Justin Bieber on it?

I'd get it even if it had Bieber on the cover, because that means there would be a Bieber sim to download like the Katy Perry sim.

I've looked further into the items included, and I will still get it, even with a candy-cane bike. I loved the Alice in Wonderland themed stuff at the store which is the definition of silly, and look forward to decorating rooms or parks with this SP stuff.

Smart business move for EA and Katy.

...definitely not, no thank you. I'm not paying the cost of an EP for the icon on my launcher. Maybe if my store does a buy EP, get SP free deal again like it did when I picked up Generations and Pets (I could pick one SP free for each EP I bought).
