The Sims 3 Katy Perry Sweet Treats Stuff Pack

According to SimsVIP, this is going to be the next Stuff Pack. I'm not sure how I feel about a Katy Perry themed pack.

I don't think (if this is really true) that a Katy Perry SP is a good move on EA's part. A lot of poeple aren't fans of Katy Perry who are fans of sims. They won't get as many sales with this one.

The word in spanish means "why". I mean, several artists who recorded for Sims have been fans of the series for a long time. Doesn't make sense why they'd pick Katy Perry again.

I didn't even know who Katy Perry was until the Showtime pack. So if it's dedicated to her, I won't waste my money.

I'm not saying that I love Katy Perry but I think she's been helping with some of the outfits and hair with the game.  If she really did help with Showtime and not just her limited edition then she didn't really do that bad of a job.   Just because it has her name on it doesn't mean necessarily that the content will be horrible.

You don't judge Lady Gaga by her clothes so why would you judge a stuff pack for a game you love by it's name.

I feel this pack could have potential. I'm hoping that there will be legitimate furniture/hair/outfits and not giant fruit stuff. That's my only real concern at this point. But I'll also be upset if they charge more just to have Katy Perry's name on it.

I mean I can see the attraction, but I just don't like her singing. Quite why they had to do this at all beats me.

I think some Perry-esque fashion would be fun, maybe furniture and other items, too, though I admit I'd use those less.  If this is true, it seems to me like it would make a better package in the store than an entire stuff pack.

I personally am a small fan of Katy Perry. I like a couple of her songs and I think she's interesting. I ended up not getting the Katy Perry edition of Showtime because I didn't really like the stuff that came with it. If this stuff pack is anything like those items then I won't get it.

My gut is telling me that this SP may not sell, nor help KP or EA's career. I'd rather buy a SP focusing on over 100 lights..better yet windows.
or! Instead of a pop genre SP, they could make an Alternative Punk one! (:
