Thanks, Metro.  I have a question since I seem to have severe reading comprehension issues lately.   A couple of other people reported finishing.  But, other than the time limit, I don't really see a finishing requirement.  My understanding is that someone could play to the end of the time, racking up raises and cute little foreign descendents.

Am I wrong?  I won't be shocked if I am wrong.

Scoring for various challenges usually fall into one of two categories — do as much as you can in x amount of time (a set finishing time), or do y things as quickly as you can (no set finishing time, but you have to accomplish certain goals as quickly as possible). So, this would be the first type of scoring scenario.

You'd have to stop at the end of week 4, day 7.

Jack Rabbit had a salary of $567/hr, which he had to spend in child support on 27 children, for a total of 1917.

I was going to name my Sim Jack Rabbit as well!!! ha!
Something to do with breeding like rabbits and getting lots of kids, that was my thought behind the name, yours?

I ended up randomizing his name instead of going with Jack Rabbit.  Its now Damion Diamond (no joke, that's the name the randomizer came up with) But I should have stuck with Jack Rabbit, I also thought of Roger Rabbit.  haha.

Thanks for then clarification.  I was wondering if maybe I misunderstood and we had to stop when we reached level ten of the education career or something.

Ok then.   I'm very positive I won't be  getting a new new computer any time soon, so I'll be diving in for real this time.  And I get to play in Union Cove this time.  Sounds like a great way to break in the town.

That was so quick after having to juggle 8 clones! It was a nice change having one person to control. Marty Sleazebag fathered 17 children, and earned $569 per hour, making a total score of 1119 I think. Women kept getting old or leaving at very inconvenient times!
There were many slaps and disagreements along the way though. I felt quite mean. Fun challenge!

Sarleenia, I think your score is 1419 -- 17 x 50 = 850.

This was my first challenge (just joined!) Lesson learned: A bit of practice beforehand would have gone a long way!
Results: $580/hr Salary, 35 kids (1750 points)
Final score: 2330

Tamaki got 566 salary and 21 kids for 1616 points. Definitely agree with the practice comment.

I still feel like I'm missing something, even with Metro's explaination.  Why are so many people reporting that they've completed this challenge when so much time is left?  The only two reasons I can think of are 1) people are doing it until they just get bored with it then decide to take a final tally and call it over or 2) I just don't get the ending rule set.

Personally, I hope it's reason #1.  I'd like to think that I'm somewhat brighter than I feel right now.

Either way, off to play Nathan Randy for a while.  I can only play for an hour or two most days because I work ten hour days with a 45 minute round trip commute.  Yeah, I'm saving up for a teleportation pad.

Tealeaf, you have to stop and submit a score when you've got to Week 4, Day 7 of your Sim's playing time (not 4 weeks of real time). At the bottom of the screen, where it says the time, if you hover over it, it will tell you which day and week you are on. You need to stop once you've played for four total sim weeks. With one sim, four weeks only takes a couple of hours to play. Hope that makes sense!
