Saving Sims
« on: April 22, 2010, 11:24:37 AM »
I started my game in nov 2009, i made it a young female adult and a child as my niece, since then i have married and presently am an elder with a set of twins, a son and my husbands daughter.  This is what i need, my household is worth 5 million dollars and my lot is worth half of million dollars so im all great but what i would like to do is use the sims that were born in my household and place them in a new game, how do i do this?  they dont appear on my sims list in the edit town, they only exist in my game to which they were born into.

ItAhiA,

Just to clarify you want to start a new, separate, game with 2 sims from your household?

If that is the case then you have a couple of options. You could simply move out the sims that you want to play with into a new house and play with them there.

You could move out everyone else and play with the sims you want to in the house you already have.

You could move out those you want to play with, package them (i.e. save to library) and start a new game with them

or lastly, you could package the whole family, lot etc and put them in a new town and move out those you don't want in your house.

I think that these are the only options but I'm sure someone else will come up with something if I’ve missed it.

Cheers

Aby

I suggest reading this Article! It helps with switching neighborhoods but can work for switching saved games just as well!

You can also have the Sim "Change Appearance" in the mirror and save them from inside Create-a-Sim(hair and makeup only).
Then you can find them in the full CAS in saved/premade Sims library and change things if u want, but you're Sim that was saved in the bin will not have any friends, skills, etc. when you choose to put them in the new game.
