The Jade Dynasty (Reaching the End, Part 1 - 4th Sept)

Those of you who are friends with me on the Official Site may have seen my Status Updates about the Dynasty, although I have not made an official decision here in this thread. I'm sad to say that I will be restarting the Jade Dynasty after Supernatural Releases due to bugs, lag and a lack of enjoyment in the game. Starlight Shores itself has been a major contributor to the lack of enjoyment in the game, the world feels dark and so depressing all the time. I know I could continue but honestly I am not enjoying the file there and I'm not sure how long it will hold up either, there have been bugs and glitches I've never had anywhere else in the game in this file. 

The Jades will return though, they will do so until the 8th Immortal eats Ambrosia. More will be revealed soon as I close off this Dynasty.

I think it will be all new for you after the Supernatural release. All the new skin sliders will be a lot of fun. Starlight shores is a buggy town. It is the only town where I get freezes now and then. Moonlight falls will be a fascinating town to play and there are a lot of new furniture with the release,

Glad it's not just me getting issues with Starlight Shores. They won't be going to Moonlight Falls, mainly because I think it's not ideal with all the Supernaturals there as townies and if they are banned etc. From the pictures it also seems fairly dark there as well. I look forward to the new content though!

Reaching the End - Part 1

"NomNomNomNumNom"

Tris often enjoyed the new Chocolate Fountain, it's hard to get him away from the oozing mess. While he stuffs his face though Rue who is fully Supermaxed fills the fridge out of boredom every day, everything that has not been completed already has little I or she can do to complete it other than hope the opportunities pop-up and to turn up at work.



Rue soon discovered that her wedding night in Egypt had resulted in a pregnancy. There had been no rush to bring in the third heir but Kerry and Karen wanted to see their Grandchild. 



"She still deserves better than him."

Tris actually has next to no relationship with Kyle at all, despite having been best friends with both his Parents.



"Kerry may be my second wife but I still love her as much as the chocolate fountain. I loved Emzy the same way but I've been with Kerry for longer than I was with Emzy. I miss Emzy and her pixie like ways."

You'll never forget either of them Tris, they both want you to succeed in this Dynasty. They know you loved both of them, even if they don't know of each other.

"I know but I hope they'll all be okay."



Kyle was a devoted Father-to-be. He followed Rue, always giving her massages and rubbing her belly. Even when she went off to try out an old wives tale.



She was on her way home after a massage at the spa when the pains finally kicked in. She was able to hop into the Motive Mobile however and get home for a home birth to boost the relationship with the child.

"I hope it's another Cupcake. Or a Pony, I want a Pony."

Ponies are like miniature Unicorns, without Horns.

"Can I get one of those wooden horses then? Infiltrate the Unicorns and then attack them from within?"

If you have a grandchild made of wood then I don't think Kyle is the Father, Geppetto maybe.



Rue had a little girl, thankfully. Her Mother named her Elle.



Rue is next to have her birthday. Finally we'll be able to travel and then get her supermaxed easily!

"I think it's a Strawberry because it's pink. But then strawberries don't cry a lot so maybe it's a sad strawberry. It also sleeps in a room of plants and strawberries are plants."



Both Rue and Kyle spent a lot of time with Elle however I'm pretty sure there is a bug or something about socialising with infants in this game. I remember that Tris was unable to form a relationship with Rue as a baby and Kyle was unable to either.





Shortly after Elle was born, both Karen and Kerry reached the 90 Days old milestone. Kerry had a wish to go to a Club and since Rue needed a Property I obliged and had Rue buy the Brightmore. She gave it an orange makeover. With Tristan and Karen babysitting for the couple they and Kerry travelled to the club.





I tried to help the two Best Friends regain their status but the damage had been done a long time ago and these two women seem to hold grudges.



Luckily for Tristan he was all innocent in Kerry's eyes, which he was anyway but at least she did not hold him responsible as well.

"She would never do that to me, I love her and she knows it. I even told her once she was better than the Chocolate fountain, except when the dark chocolate was on.. Yum."



"Something doesn't feel right."

What do you mean?



"I have the same feeling as I did before the Unicorn stole me."

He didn't steal you.. He saved you..

"Whatever, I just think that something is wrong. Very wrong."

Well you're wrong most of the time and you're wrong in the head so.. Sure it's not just you that is wrong?

Welcome, Elle! It's so good of you to write an end to this story. I didn't expect that and it's a real treat!
The reference at Pinocchio had me in stitches.

Welcome to the sim world Elle ! This was a great chapter. Sorry you have to end it because of all sorts of issues but I'm looking forward to seeing the New Jade Dynasty in the near future. I hope your next town doesn't have so many glitches and you can finally see your fabulous story to the end. I wish you good luck !

Reaching the End - Part 2

Soon enough it was time for Elle to become a toddler, to begin her journey of learning. She took mainly after her Father's family, although she did get Rue's hair colouring, which was edited to remove the Orange specks.





"She's so cute, despite looking like her Father. She'd have looked so much cuter if she was more of a cupcake."



Training commenced and sped by quite quickly, with the aid of the Swing you can almost manage toddler trainings in one day now.



When Rue wasn't partying down at the Brightmore she was with her daughter, so she did pitch in and got the stinky part too!

"Hey.. You said I needed friends so I was bonding with people..."





A few days after Elle became a Toddler the expected call came for Kerry, who had only just passed the 90 days milestone.





Despite the loss of a loved one things in the household remained fairly cheerful and the family relaxed how they knew best. Even if the glitched out Genies did ruin their moments...



Elle had her childhood birthday and discovered a love of Horses, much to her Grandfathers distaste.





Rue mistakenly thought her Father's insanity was the result of not leaving the house for days. She was wrong but we let her have false hope of curing him.



At this precise moment in time Elle rolled a lifetime wish of adding a Unicorn to the family, whether she was to roll it anyway or knew of her Grandfathers aversion to the horned beasts we'll never know..

*Grumble* "She clearly knew."



However the trip brought about a dilemma for Rue. Her Daughter opened her eyes on this trip. Rue began to think of family, of how she and her daughter would live yet her husband and the father of her child would be left to die. She began to question whether that was right, whether she even deserved to live and let others die. Could she condemn her daughter to such a decision as well? All she knew was that at least she would have her Daughter till the end.



And the doubts were heard by someone. Someone who knew of future dangers for this family, someone that decided something had to be done.
