Return to Game screen never leaves

I went into edit town and after I merged a Sim, I clicked on Return to Game. Well the dashbroad from that, plus the world icons in the top left corner, and the "return to game" button overlap onto my live mode game. So I can't see or use my dashbroad for the current live game.

This happened when I was creating the file to the Clone challenge. Finially got it to work right, I have a preivous save but I will lose an hour of our time game play.

Has this happen to anyone else?

I guess you tried 'esc'.  It's my panic button whenever anything out of the blue happens.  Other than that, it sounds like some weird sort of hang.  Sorry you lost so much of your game play.  It can be frustrating but we seem to go back for more.
