Diagonal walls work a little strangely compared to perpendicular walls. Doors and windows occupy one additional section on a diagonal wall, so that two square doors will require 3 wall sections. This will skew symmetry.
Buy mode objects snap to slot at the half square, as do some build mode objects. Doors, windows and stairs only snap to slot on full squares. The problem is that for it to be symmetrical the way your build currently is, you essentially need it to snap to a half square, which by it's nature it can't do. If you want it to be symmetrical, you'll have to make the room wider.
However, using a single square arch might solve your problem as well, as a one slot arch will actually occupy the amount of space that the two slot arch you're using seems to occupy.
