Sunset Escape - 1br, 1ba - Starter
« on: March 03, 2012, 12:37:06 PM »
Hey all here's my first upload!

Name: Sunset Escape
Lot Size: 20x30
Bedrooms:1
Bathrooms:1
Cost when placed on X lot: $14,838
Cost when placed on X lot unfurnished: $11,788
Requires expansion/Sims 3 store content: Ambitions, World Adventures

This small lot is perfect for a single sim (or couple) to start their careers, with  some free space to add bookshelves, skill objects etc~

Feedback would be Helpful.
Hope you Enjoy!

Aww this is adorable, and at just the right price for a starter home.  :)

I'm still on patch 1.29 and my launcher says this requires the update, so I can only check the screenshots, but this looks quite good. My main suggestion would be to reduce the amount of "empty" space, namely the corridor between kitchen and living room. If the bathroom was against the outer wall, the living/work area could be a bit bigger still.

I left it like that intentionally so once your sims get more money they can fill it with whatever~

Welcome to  the Swap shop , it's a very cute starter  ;) . I have only one suggestion, try to build Starter houses on smaller lots, like 10 x 15 .  First it's much cheaper, second you don't  have to bother about landscaping

Empty space is good, I just mean that it's harder to fit certain items like a dog bed, cat condo or inventing bench into a corridor. :)
