Ok, thanks Metro.

To everyone else, we need to refrain from using netspeak, chatspeak, abbreviations, etc.  If anyone has to ask what it is, it shouldn't be here.

You can hire a babysitter over the phone or try to leave the house, say to go work, and writing will come up saying the baby can't be left by itself call a babysitter or stay at home.

                  THEY GOT MARRIED ;)... YAY :D :D
Thanks a lot everyone for all the help, I followed your tips and my sim proposed to Christopher and they got married. :)
They moved to his house which is much larger than my sim's previous one... I'm enjoying the space, :)
but Christopher took the last name of my sim!! :D (I thought mine would take his last name because he is the man!!)
Their baby grew up to a toddler and his next birthday is coming soon also!
Now my sim has a wish to make another baby with Christopher; I don't know if I should make them try now, or if I should wait!!
what's the maximum number of children can they have?

Jerseygirl, you can only ever have 8 Sims on any residential lot in the Sims 3, but that is not to say that your couple can only have 6 kids.  You can feed your couple Ambrosia so that they can stay young and just move out the kids as they grow to YA.

The couple takes the last name of whichever one does the proposing.  And babies always take the last name of their mother.

Ok, I made them try for a baby, but I don't know the result yet.

Christopher's and their son's birthdays came on the same day and Christopher is now an elder. I don't know if men make babies after being elders or not. (So I hope my female sim is pregnant now, anyway.)

Christopher wishes to retire (he does not make good money from his work anyway), so I think iIshould allow him to retire, but how can i do that ? And can I make him work on something in home? He's not artistic, so I don't think I should make him paint or play guitar. I saw in some topics here that the Sims can work on gardening, but I don't know how!

Any sim can learn painting or guitar, it's not necessary to be artistic - the trait just helps them learn a little faster.  As for gardening, they can learn by taking a class (I think it's at the Science Centre) or by going to the library and reading a gardening book.  Once they have gardening level 1, they can plant the basic seeds (apples, tomatoes, grapes, lettuce).  As their skill level increases they can plant more things and learn to weed and fertilize their plants.  There is a lot of good information on all these skills in Carl's Sims 3 guide.

Elder male sims can become fathers, while elder female sims can't get pregnant.

If you want to have information on self-employment, check Carl's guide. There he gives perfect tips and suggestions for making extra money at home.

Men can have babies after they turn elder, but women cannot.  When they try for a baby, you will sometimes hear lullaby chimes at the end of woohoo if the attempt is successful.

To retire, Christopher just needs to use his cell phone or go to his place of business.  You'll have the retire option when you click on either.  He doesn't have to be artistic to learn painting or guitar.  He won't learn them as fast, but he'll still learn.  Gardening can be a great activity, too.  There's a ton of information about it in the Guide if you'd like to check it out.

Edit:  Drat!  Y'all beat me to it!

I'm checking it.  :)
Again, I'm loving this forum.  :D
It's very helpful, and I love that I get replies quickly.
Is there a photos section in this forum? Something like where people post photos of their gameplay, their Sims families and so on?

We don't post a lot of pictures because that's mostly considered "frivolous" posts.  Our focus here is to provide help and to make the game more interesting with challenges.  Of course, when a screenshot is helpful for a particular problem, it's posted.  However, we do have a couple of topics that are somewhat of an exception to this rule.  One is for paintings that Sims have done and the other is just for weird and funny new stuff that players encounter.  You might enjoy them.  :)

sorry for bothering so often but i have some more questions
-now that Christopher is an elder , can i help him avoid dying soon ? , i want him to live ,at least to see his son turns into a teen!
-what skills can their son practice while being a "child"  ? , he has the 'athletic" trait , how can i make him use this or where can he practice sports ?
- if they had another baby , can i put the baby and the child in the same room ?
-what happens for the children and the money if one of the parents die? and if both of them died !!?
