when the 5 children turned into teens .. it counted and the LTW  was fulfilled though 2 of the children were adopted as toddler and child ....
so it doesnot really matter if you adopt babies or older than that

Every Sim keeps changing between 4 or 5 outfits, one casual, one for sleeping and so on. Even when I click on the closet and choose change outfit, there are no more options than those 4 or 5 outfits.  I want to get them new ones.   For example, another casual outfit and another sleeping pajama and so on.  Can I do that?

Yes, you can give them new clothes.  Click on a dresser and choose Plan Outfit.  It will take you to the CAS dressing room.  You can have up to 3 outfits for each category.  Just click the plus signs toward the left to add a new outfit for a particular category.

Hi again. I need help, as usual. *blush*
1st, they want a fireplace and I can't find it in the buy mode.
2nd, the husband has a romantic interest towards a girl other than the wife. How could this affect things? And what should I do ? (I discovered it by chance. I made him use the phone to call someone then I noticed the red heart next to some girl.)

First, fireplace is in build mode, click on the fireplace on the house in there.  Second, it depends on what you want the husband to do.  You can go either way with it, experiment.  He can leave his wife or have the girl over and start a fight.  I don't have much imagination, but I this game sometimes brings it out of ya. lol.  It also will not affect anything if you do not have your sim act on it.  I have found romantic interests alot of times in my friends list.  I just left them there, or met them somewhere and ask to just be friends and that usually takes care of the heart.

Thanks.    But my Sim had a wish to be in a fire, so I built the fireplace and a fire started, but his wish was not achieved!! What should I do?

Wish to be in a fire or play with fire?  Not sure if I have heard of play in fire.  Just to try it out, put a fire pit in back yard and have sim light it, click on it and if it has option to play with fire, then that might be it, but to be "in" fire, I am not sure about that one.
