That's what I was thinking too. It's been added to a collection that has two sets in it - more bedroom/bathroom items for the futureshock and mid century themed items.

I'm so glad I wasn't the only one to think this. The scene from the movie just popped in my head upon seeing this. I'd love it if it messed up and put the sim in some whacky outfit and hair like the one on the cartoon used to.

In case anyone wants them... the Final Frontier and Mid-Century Modern Trailblazer sets are in the store. And a tip; if you don't want to waste your simpoints, then don't get the set; buy all the items seperately. Because apparently, the "need" pad itself is 500 simpoints. (Which is quite expensive in my opinion, especially if you don't need it).

Reminds me of that thing Katniss had to put her hand into so she could get her schedule. An then the showers with the million buttons and steamers, shampoos, etc.

I wish you could just buy the pad separately. Unfortunately, it's only sold with the sets.

It will be like all the other premium content where it will be available after a few weeks of people buying the sets for the pad.  It's already got a price up so they're just trying to make people buy the whole sets to get it.  It's marketing.

I'm probably going to buy one of the sets and luckily, the one I want actually has this. It doesn't really suit the Mid-Century one.

I've already got the tree that comes with LL. I don't think I want any more toys of that nature. And certainly not for its current price.
