General Moving Out Question

When a YA moves out, do they take some money with them? I'm just curious because my first kid is about to become a young adult and I don't want to send her out into the sims world dirt poor.

They get $5000 I think just for moving out but if you want you can either choose to buy them a house or kick them out and then they will choose their own house of the ones available.

Remember if you move them out there is a chance they will move away.

If you move them out and choose to move them into a house, they do not have any funds at all.  After I move them out, I change households and give them at least a couple thousand, so the game won't keep moving them around the neighborhood. :)
