Graveyards and Pet Tombstones

If I use buydebug to place a pet tombstone in Sunset Valley, will there be a pet ghost? I'd rather not kill off pets to get pet ghosts. I think pet ghosts would add a bit more character.

Generic tombstones usually just say 'Remains' and I have never seen any kind of ghost associated with them.  I expect generic pet tombstones would be the same.  If you want to get a pet tombstone with a ghost fairly quickly (within a couple of sim weeks) without killing off a pet, just adopt an elder pet by phone and let them live out their life naturally.

I was thinking about doing that as soon as my Teen becomes a YA and moves out of the house.

For some reason, killing off Sim people doesn't bother me, but pets? Yeah.

I know that they rolled out the ability to set how long each stage of life would last with Generations. This also applies to pet life stages. So if you adopted a bunch of elder pets and then went to your options and set the elder stage to the lowest you can they would quicky pass on. I know dogs can be set as low as 2 days for the elder stage. I haven't checked what it is for cats and horses yet.
