You're right BellaClo - it began when I started testing for the Clones challenge when it first went up on the board. Is the options.ini one I can open in notepad? The one that you can edit manually to switch to windowed mode? If so I could have a look at that too. I have several folders that I just rename when I want to change. My challenge one is fairly new, but I'll check the ini file, and then again, it could just be numbers, since other parts of it seem to be working. I'll definitely try plonking down some registers. Thank you all for the tips :) Fingers crossed something works.

I think so. Otherwise you can just delete it and it'll be regenerated next time you launch the game (generated with defaults settings, so storyprog on).

I only had this happen in one game and I realized that almost all of my houses had families in them, but no one was moving.  I evicted a few families and put them in the bin and then took some smaller houses from my library and placed them in town.  After a few sim days, I noticed a couple of new families had moved in and finally got notice of sims moving out.  I know in a challenge you cannot go into edit town, so this might be more helpful in regular game play. :)
