Cool! I'll let you know when it's finished! ;)

Be sure to look over existing articles very carefully so that you understand the style that Carl prefers for his Guide.  Use the format that others have used when writing for the Guide.  And remember, it need to be submitted to Carl in perfect English.  Study it carefully and make whatever changes to yours you deem necessary in grammar, punctuation, and spelling.  If the piece you send in needs a lot of work before it has to be published, you'll probably have it returned to you.

Good luck!

I don't find any lists about Self-Employed career, like Fishing, Writing, Gardening and other besides the Ambitions one.
I thought it would be nice if there's a list about those. Maybe plus tips on climbing the career.
Oh, sorry if there's actually the list. I did use the search engine but couldn't find any.

This came up in suggestions before and I guess time has slipped on by without me getting that done. I'll make it one of my next priorities :)

The skill guides themselves have tips to raising the skill faster, which will help advance. I'll keep my eyes open for opportunities to place a tip or two while adding the other info.

@Carl :
I got another in my mind. A guide about how to make an apartement. With the Room Marker and such. I'm trying to make one and having a hard time here. Would be good if there's any guide.
And again, sorry if this has already been suggested

I didn't know if it was possible to make an apartment, I know how to edit them by taking out the Room Marker and such. Oh maybe you get the Apartment blank building from Buydebug where I saw some?

@samoth : I've saw someone made a sort of apartement without the shell in buydebug. They created normal buildings, then put marker such as Hidden Room, Public Room, and NPC doors. We can live in one of the rooms they made, and Sim NPC will eventually reside in other rooms with the NPC doors. That's what I know so far.

Umm... NPC : Non playable character.

I've actually experimented with building apartments, and it's possible to convert multi-storey buildings into them using the buydebug tools. They seem to be missing a few features like mailbox and callbox but otherwise they work a lot like regular apartments. I sent RubyLovesSims a message about it, would you like me to forward it to you Samoht, Oathbear and whoever wants to write the article? I won't pretend to know everything about the topic, but it's a start.

http://www.carls-sims-3-forum.com/index.php/topic,2455.0.html is about building apartments.  I'll try to finish up the one that I created (do some shoddy decorating, lol) and submit it to the Swap.  It's really not too difficult to make apartments - just partition a building into livable space and NPC space, add an elevator, put in your room markers, and turn rbbb back on to play-test.

Send it my way, Ausette. I may not be able to make new articles for a bit, but will pursue this when I'm back in that mode a little later this month. I'm updating the agenda to reflect this and the skill guide update.

Thanks for pointing out the thread Jonna.

Not to be redundant, but I have some time tonight and will try to throw a little something together in the aforementioned thread in the Building and Construction category.  With screen shots.  Something simple to get people started, I guess.

Edit: Done.  It's pretty basic, but hopefully it's enough to get people going!
