I've decided to write a walkthrough for the Visionary Lifetime Wish.

Awesome, thanks Metro! I'll do my seasoned traveler one this weekend if the France guide goes really smoothly. Unfortunately with school starting monday, I won't have nearly as much time to write :(

Back to the salt mines with you, eh? Oh, well. I hope you had a good break. On the visionary article — get ready for Stevie Wonder to max out painting and photography in record time! No, I have no shame.

Yep, shameless but funny that. Breaks are always too short when there's a lot of other things to do...

I fixed my task on the agenda, meant to take Seasoned Traveler but had Great Explorer marked instead.

It was a toss up for me between having Stevie do Visionary and Rosie O'Donnell do Physical Perfection. I ended up tossing a coin.

 Hi,
i reccomend you set up a section on the guide for challenges: it took me ages to track down the rules for the legacy challenge and i bet there are a alot more challenges too, i found the official rules for it on the official forum and could post up here if you want.
I've also heard of the 3 sims challenge but not sure of the rules

The Legacy Challenge is not a site exclusive event. There are simply too many challenges floating around — many worthy of a toilet bowl — for our moderators to link for forum members. That's why we have established challenge standards for the site and only deal with top shelf forum member created challenges listed at the Guide and in the Challenge section of the forum.

Hi Pam, I was just wondering, I ADORE Sims 3, and I just got the World Adventures Expansion pack. I have created a Sim and his daughter Jamie. (I am sometimes forgetful about the names of my sims) His lifetime wish is the 'The Great Explorer'. He has already fully explored a Pyramid (The Dream Pyramid or something, but it looks like The Great Pyramid of Giza, which it probably is) and I remeber the adventure very well; it may take a while but if Carl, yourself or somebody are not working on it I would like to write 'The Great Explorer' LTW walkthrough; as I saw that nobody has written a LTW walkthrough yet and if somebody is already working on it is there anything else that I could write? Because I love literature and I love to write. So Sims 3 and writing would go great with me!

Thanks

Snowyluc

Welcome to our Forum, Snowyluc!

I merged your post into this topic because it's a better match than where you originally posted.

The Great Explorer walkthrough has not been claimed.  If you'd like to start writing it and send me the first part of it to review, that would be great!  Just use the same format as the other walkthroughs in the Guide, including the traits of your Sim and step-by-step descriptions of how you completed the LTW.

If you have any questions, just send me a private message and I'll be glad to answer and help!  And thanks!  :D

Since I knocked out the Perfectly Happy Challenge quickly and the next one doesn't start for 2 1/2 weeks, I'm looking for something to do for the Guide. So, I'm going to pen an article on advanced guitar-playing. I know Carl already has a guitar guide, but I want to approach it differently and really hammer down some tricks that I use.

Plus, I want to address two key general purpose skills for Sims 3 — the importance of a Utility Sim and Party Throwing 101.

------

EDIT: I'm scrapping my guitarist article idea above for now. I need to work on something else.

Sounds like some great additions for that articles page I've yet to make. Doing info gathering for France, but I've spent so long on this web server thing it's being delayed again.

Well, my project on relationships has been going on for a while; I am happy with the progress. I am finding out some really good stuff on relationships and whatnot!

I'm taking my name off of the Physical Perfection article for now. That doesn't mean I won't do it at all — I may turn my attention to it eventually, but I've got some other commitments that were dropped on me in another forum I moderate.
