Hello,
My name is Jeff, and I've just joined your forum.
I've been on your site for quite a long time, and I finally decided to join the forum. I'm a bit of a shy guy.  ;D
Anyway, I write articles for various different mags, (not under my real name, just for privacy reasons, not that there are many but.... :o)
And I wondered if I could write something, like I know that you have your staff, as I've monitored the discussions, and I also know there's no LTWs to be written.
So I wondered if you'd consider if I wrote a small piece about being enlisted as a self-employed painter, and having a goal to get to the top of the career? Not a LTW, just a goal. And maybe include like, paint 100 paintings along the way.
I know you generally you don't allow this, but I've got spare time on my hands.
Thanks,

Jeff H.

Hey, Jeff. Welcome to the forums. Thanks for the offer to help. As I've told others, we pretty much have our bases covered for now. The painting career might be interesting. Carl typically handles all the career stuff himself unless he gets really bogged down with other jobs. So, he can weigh in when he gets a chance. You might pull his chain via a PM too since he's in and out of here less than Pam and I.

Oh, okay.
Thanks Metro.
Give me an update if Carl says anything.
Thanks again.

Someone threw out there that they'd like a guide to tattooing if we can make a full page out of it.

Same goes for me, I really like to write a guide for Late Night, when the expansion arives. After I've done the first one for Ambitions, writing tastes like more.

I've been curious about delving into this and wouldn't mind taking a look.  I'm currently whipping up a small building tutorial that should be done quite soon then I can poke around the fine art of tattooing.

Hey Carl.
I know you have general staff for your site but I just want to let you know I'd love to do some work for the site.
I'm submitting myself for The Actor LTW for Late Night, an Article on Vampires for Late Night and anything to do for Barnacle Bay.
I understand that you will first look at your staff before considering me, so I don't mind if I don't get any. But I'm just saying I'm an extra pair of hands. :)

Thanks,

Jeff. H

I love helping pull together information and wouldn't mind a byline but actually writing an article might be a bit more then I can handle.  Is there a way I can help feed information to someone who might be better for your article writing?

I don't mind giving it a try for you to review and see if I can indeed write up an article.  I just really like giving insight and helping while staying humorous.

Maybe writing an article with someone else would be an option for you.

Thanks to everyone for the offers.  We won't be able to make any actual assignments until Late Night is released.  We won't know enough about it until we get it in our hands.  We'll keep everyone in mind when the time comes.  :)

I had placed this suggestion in the wrong area.  An article on town editting would be most useful.  I did not see one on your site and needed a simple question answered.  Of course I received the answer on your forums but it would still be a good idea.

Good idea, tiff.  I'll make sure Carl sees this.

Town Editting? If you mean like with Create a World, I mentioned that earlier too, but I thought they didn't needed it here. If that changes, I really like to write about that site program. Once you know how it works it's pretty easy.

I want to do that! I'm about the only "regular member" that hasn't written an article for the guide...
