But is it not an option to when things really gone bad to get back to my previous save file? I am not aware of that this may be one of the higher dont's while writing a guide, because I thought getting back to a previous save file when things gone bad in one of your challenges was out of the question I believe.

If something goes bad for a Guide character, by all means, go back to a previous save. You're not competing against anyone like in a challenge.

Thinking of that: I am not even aware of other do's and dont's for guide writing. Of course I can and will read other guids about fullfilling lifetime whishes, but even than, I can't read there what I may not aloud to write, because it would simply be not there.
It will be my first guide though and I wanted it to be at least perfect and therefore you can expect a few or more questions from me. Hope you don't mind though. :) Of course, you can send me to other guide writers if you think that will be the best option.

I'll be happy to offer any direct advice you want from me via PM. But, I'm pretty sure you'll be working more closely with Pam and not me on this particular piece, so just stay in touch with her and she'll answer any questions you have. This thread is not the place.

Edit: A few posts above you've used the word 'tidbits'. It is one of the few words I had need to translate, but my translate page didn't provide me with an translation. So, what does it mean?

Little pieces of information.

Thanks Metro, I think I got enough information now to start writing. :)

Since Carl just put my Medical career revamp article on the Guide, I updated the first post and decided to also take on the Possession is Nine Tenths of the Law LTW. I've never played a Kleptomaniac so it show be fun.

Is there going to be some sort of guide on the baked-good stand for children? I've been wondering about that.

Wow, never a klepto? That's almost all I do. :)
This may very well be one of the easiest Metro, as I said here, so think about how you should do this.

Yes I think at the very least we can add it to the children's page of the parenting guide. I haven't had a chance to look into it yet.

Yeah, I've seen your post, Swede. It does look pretty easy. Padding what should be a relatively short piece should not be difficult for me.

Well, if I had any type of writing skills, I would help out on the baking article.  I was just playing a game where the little girl baked her little heart out, really cute.  It would be a short article, not much to really write about, but it is worth mentioning.

If you'd like to give it a shot, write up a little something and send it to me through PM. If it looks good, I can insert it into the children's page of the Guide.

Also, I put myself down for Pervasive Private Eye. I'm almost finished with Fashion Phenomenon.

I will give it a try.  I also have a good picture too.  I posted one of them in the Baking post. Thanks

Thanks Tommy, I updated the first post. Updating lifetime rewards soon. We're knocking them out pretty fast. Have Pam's guide but might wait a couple days, don't want 2 stylists on the hot bar :P

Ah, that's why! I was wondering because I saw a stylist guide on the site and I knew Pam was busy writing one, but it wasn't exactly Pam's way of writing (but still good). :)
Mine will take a little week, than I'm finished to.

Carl wrote the overall guide for the Fashion career and I did the Fashion Phenomenon Lifetime Wish.  They're different things.

I can try and do the paranormal profiteer LTW. I'm not a guide savvy, but I can try.
