No problem. You may know how much I love inventing. But the only thing that I am afraid off what my inventing sim can overcome while I am writing the guide is that he travels back in time, changing the timeline in the past, and therefore his total family chain, resulting in coming back as like he has ondergoes a midlife crisis which will give him a new lifetime wish. Talking about a paradox.
And than there goes my guide! Do I have to totally start over than or keep playing until I get enough LTR to buy another midlife crisis? I will use that time machine though, because my sim can get practicall stuff from using it.
If it were me, then I would not risk using the time machine while writing the Guide article. I know that traveling to the past and future grants nice happiness points, but if it can also royally mess things up, then you may want to just stick to what needs to be done to complete the article and leave the extras for later.
Yes, maby that is the best option indeed. But mostly I just couldn't resist using the time machine. But for writing for the guide I think I need to make an exception for a change. Although with pain in my heart.
I can't write while strugling through paradox errors though of course.
But is it not an option to when things really gone bad to get back to my previous save file? I am not aware of that this may be one of the higher dont's while writing a guide, because I thought getting back to a previous save file when things gone bad in one of your challenges was out of the question I believe. Thinking of that: I am not even aware of other do's and dont's for guide writing. Of course I can and will read other guids about fullfilling lifetime whishes, but even than, I can't read there what I may not aloud to write, because it would simply be not there.
It will be my first guide though and I wanted it to be at least perfect and therefore you can expect a few or more questions from me. Hope you don't mind though.
Of course, you can send me to other guide writers if you think that will be the best option.
Edit: A few posts above you've used the word 'tidbits'. It is one of the few words I had need to translate, but my translate page didn't provide me with an translation. So, what does it mean?
