I am not much of a write, so i don't wish to do the LTW's, but if you guy's would like i will be able to collect data and write bits and peices of the guides for the following things:

-new community lots
-laundry system
-firefighting career
-investigator
-doctor
-architect
-inventor

I'll be able to start testing at roughly 6:00 on June 1st, if there is anything i can help with. I pre-ordered my game from Amazon.

I like to collect data about the timemachine (and if there is not much to talk about that, than the whole inventor thing).
I was going to dive in the inventor job right away after I've installed the game, so why not making a post on it.

Honestly, I most want the investigator, and architect careers. Firefighter/Doctor sound OK. Ghost Buster and Tattoo Artist are not that awesome, in my opinion. I have never cared much for CAS, so the Stylist skill isn't really needed for me. Anyway, i hope to god that it doesn't come all glitchy like WA.

Thanks again to everyone for offering to help with Ambitions!  We really appreciate your support of the Guide.  At the moment, we have four writers and that will be enough to get us going on the new expansion pack in June.  All articles will require editing for proper English, insertion of HTML code, and screenshots which means that there's always a great deal of work that goes into an article before it's published.  We'll be keeping a firm grip on everything so that we don't get overwhelmed and disorganized by too many people participating in Guide articles.   So, keep in mind that, even if you don't write an article for the Guide, there's going to be a lot going on here on the Forum that will need contributions from everyone!

We appreciate all of you so much and are happy that you're all part of our awesome Sims 3 family!  :D

I will most likely become a fire-fighter! I am just... um... curious about the new fires!  :D

Also when is the Ambitions Section of the Forum coming?  :)

On its release date. I don't really want speculation on its official board, so we'll all be able to start posting about it once we have it  :)

I wouldn't mind doing the Firefighter Career or the Designer one. I could also test skills and the likes!  ;)

Thanks for the offers, folks.  I believe we're good on writers for the Guide at the moment.  If we need anything in particular, I'll definitely post it on the forum.  I think the best use for you early birds right now is to just post things and answer questions on the Forum.

Moderator guys still looking for people to dive into specific parts of the game? I'm wondering because this topic is still open.
I am open for all things that include the timemachine.

This topic stays open all the time and we just update as things progress.  I'm sorry we don't have any specific assignments just yet.  None of the writers have received the game yet, so we still have no idea what's involved.  It will start picking up next week once all deliveries of Ambitions have been made and the U.S. holiday is finished. Thanks for all the interest. We'll get organized and started soon, I promise!  :)

Alrighty then! Well, tomorrow is the first of June, so I will check out some stores here to see if I can buy Ambitions already and feel myself on cloud nine or just falling down vertically ending with a not so soft landing because they don't have it yet. I will let you know if I have it.
Because wow, I just can't wait to get my hands dirty working on that time machine and playing Dr. Emmett Brown (without the DeLorean).

See you in the future!

I've ran through firefighting a couple times now and would be willing to help with that if needed.
