Accessing sims 3 installed content from within sims
« on: February 26, 2012, 09:00:16 PM »
Hey Guys.

OK.  I've just brought some new content from the sims store, like the valentines day stuff as well as the magic stuff, however, when i look in the buy objects I cant seem to find them, all .sims3pack files if installed correctly through launcher should be placed appropriately in game hey??? so is there a button you need to click on in order to see the content so its all in one place....

Also, wouldnt it be great if sims 3 had a search bar for objects, instead of trying to hard to find the content by pictures, you could just type in a keyword.. Does this frustrate anyone else?

I know for a fact the magic stuff is in hobbies and skills. Yep it would be nice to have a search bar lol. The valentines day stuff is it objects or clothes?

The new valentines stuff is only clothes so you'll find it in CAS under YA outfits.   Most of the stuff on the Sims 3 Store tells you where you would find it when you go into build/buy mode.  Premium Content will give you the exact routing information for all the other stuff, when you choose a specific item it's in the section that you can find it in game.

There's no search feature, but there is a filter that allows you to see specific things.  One of the settings you can apply is "store content only."

If you're downloading this content illegally, we can be of no help to you here.  We have a strict and unyielding policy against the discussion of piracy in any form.  Any and all help we've tried to give you would only ever apply to items purchased legally from the Sims Store.

So if your questions revolve around the use of pirated software, I'm afraid you'll have to look elsewhere for your answers.
