Inventory Glitch (Sims 3 Pets)

Has this happened to anyone?  I was following my sims dog as he digging.  I clicked on him to check what options were available.  One time he had an inventory.  So I clicked on the inventory thinking it will be his households.  Well, in addition to various books and a guitar, there were like 10 Police Cruisers, no lie! The items could be sold as well. I posted this on another Xbox  forum and a user says the next time I load the game it will probably be gone.  Sure enough it was gone.  But a few days later, it happened again!  I took advantage and sold all the cars and my sim got over 100k simoleons!!  And this would be one of the good glitches   If this happens again, I will take a snapshot, which we can do now on the console game.  BTW, what can we do with all the snapshots we take?

I have read about this but i have not had it happen to myself but you seem happy about that glitch so its not so bad.I think it must be a problem with the inventory getting bugged out. I am having huge issues with no items in my inventory but having the bar full half way orange   

I am hoping EA sorts this out i am a huge Sims fan but my pc is to out of date to handle Sims 3, i own an xbox 360 so got the console version but i really think it needs to be patched or updated.
Does anyone agree?

If you read Sims console forums, not just this one, I think everyone agrees about having the game patched or updated.  But maybe EA is concentrating more on the PC game. With all the expansions and stuff maybe its more important.  EA has heard all the complaints, I'm sure.  Who knows, maybe they'll surprise us.  But I'm having so much fun on the console, glitches and all!  And I've also learned not to play hours at a time and save in- game often.

This happend to me but it wasn't good. I'm on week 9 and play sims 3 (pets) for PS3 and one day all the items in my inventory have gone and been replaced with books. My inventory is unusable as anything I pick up, get or dig using my dog just dissapears too when I check my inventory. So my inventory has been replaced and anything I get disapears too. This is frustraiting when my dog digs up a seed or a relic and I can't actually get it. There is one thing I noticed though what is weird, when I go to the shop and selet sell my old inventory full of seeds and gems is there but the only option I can do with it is sell! So I can only see my old inventory at a shop. Anybody have any advice??? Btw I'm new to the forums so sorry if I'm beeing a noob.
