Gifting a pet

Hello first of all sorry if this has already been posted I'm an xbox 360 user i want to complete the gift a pet challenge but i don't have anyone on your friends list who also has The Sims 3: Pets so i was wondering if anyone else is having the same trouble as me? if so would you be able to add me so i can gift you a pet & you can gift me a pet? thanks

I am not 100% sure how the gift pet works but yeah id love a pet!
