Ok, now I'm wondering why you need the space in the house.  How many pets do you have?  And how many Sims?

@ Pam.

I have 4 dogs (3 elder and one YA)(2 of the elders are parents to the YA, and the other is the very old stray), I had 2 elder sims who died after I posted this thread, I have my first immortal, her teen daughter, and an elder friend.

I'll be moving in the future husband soon (both his parents have turned into vampires, gotta save him!), and I really want a mate for the YA dog so I can continue their bloodline. I also need space for a nooboo of course ;). Both for the dogs and the sims.

By my calculations, I won't have space for ALL of that if the elder dogs don't start dying...

Do you have to have the dog tombstones?  Just give them up for adoption.  It's not against the dynasty rules.

So, you're aware of the limits on the number of Sims and pets?  You can have up to 8 Sims and up to 6 pets, with the total of both being limited at 10.  With 4 pets, you can have 6 Sims.  You've got 3 now, right?  If you add a husband and a nooboo, that makes 5 Sims and 4 pets, a total of 9.  You would still have one slot available for another dog, just no puppies until someone dies.

Does any of that work for you?

The second to oldest dog just died. She was 52. The oldest dog is now 81 :P.

I now have space for everything, although I have decided against breeding my pets further. Instead I'll just keep 2 pets in the house at all times through adoption. At least that way I can be sure that my Sim slots are nice and freed up. :P

Thanks for the help everyone. I'll let you all know if that dog ever kicks the bucket!

The Immortal Dynasty would be hard to have multi-generational pets, no doubt.  I'm having them in my Townie DecaDynasty because each generation moves and can leave behind the previous generation of pets and only take one.  It's working out nicely so far.  I've got third generation kittens at the moment.  :D

As promised, I am updating to let you know that he finally died :(. I'm relieved, but a little sad.

I couldn't take a look at his age, but I'm pretty sure he was 83 days old. That's 36 days past his prime :P.
