Another great story! I remember when you first started and we only thought it was a little side project. It really grew into its own!  ;D
If at first you don't succeed, call it version 1.0.

Great story!  I smiled when I saw Kitee and Ransom together again at the end and I am a little choked up.  I'm in awe of all the writing talent on this forum.  I can't wait to read the next story.

P.S.  You have inspired me to play a character who lives in the graveyard.  I want her to have rainbow ghost babies.  One of each color.  I wonder if that is possible.

I thought it would be just a little project when I started it, too. ;D

It should be possible. Your sim has to be a girl, though, and she should probably have the brave trait (so she won't be scared in the graveyard) and flirty, friendly, charismatic, or hopeless romantic, to make it easier. It's really hard to develop a relationship with a ghost, because they only appear at night and not every night, and they get too exhausted to do any romantic interactions toward the end of the night. Some ghosts, like Ransom, only showed up between twelve and four, and from three to four he rejected any romantic interactions because he was in a bad mood, and besides he was really unreliable about showing up. I advise picking the more regular ghosts. Good luck! ;D

You could have knocked me down with a feather when I found out this story has ended. Such a great tale! Thanks for sharing it. And, was I the only person that didn't take it as a little side-project?

Anyway, well done! I'll be looking forward to your next story.

You did it again Apples.  That was such a fantastic story.  I got so use to getting up and looking for your stories to read while I drink my coffee.  I hope you write another one soon.  I have to say again, your writing is so very good. :)

I loved your Story Apples, but Kitee... She was only 82! Couldn't you have waited for her natural passing?

Yep. I've been writing "novels" ever since I was nine years old. Actually, my dream is to be a professional writer. ;D

I could have, but to be honest I was tired of playing. It was really near to impossible at that point. I had to restart the game every fifteen minutes or so, and I would have had to take at least another week before I posted the final chapter, and I didn't want to keep everyone waiting. She really enjoyed life, though. She's the first sim I've had that died with over 150,000 lifetime happiness points. :) Besides, I was afraid Ransom would die and disappear from the game, because his ghost was aging, even after he'd returned to the netherworld. No idea how that happened. ???

Thank you for a fantastic story and sticking with it even with all the bugs. I'm so glad they find each other on the other side.

Thank you! ;D I'm not sure if ghost sims can die. It sounds silly. If you're controlling them and they die they return to the netherworld. But if they're in the netherworld and age until they die, what would happen? ??? I didn't want to take the chance that something would happen to Ransom before the end and I couldn't reunite him with Kitee.
