Possible temporary solution to fishing glitch
« on: February 18, 2012, 07:07:07 PM »
Would anyone be interested if I uploaded a 40x40 lot with separte ponds stocked with every type of fish? It's nothing fancy at all - just a lot with ponds, nothing else. But you could use the spawners how you wish to make something fancier. I needed a solution to the not being able to bring fish home glitch - not even in a chest :(

The AP River Repopulation Project

Lot Descripton: Since the fish importing laws were tightened, and nothing can be brough home from overseas, a breeding program was started here at the hatchery. EVERY kind of fish is bred here.

Isn't there a fishing place like that in Riverview?  It doesn't have any WA fish but like you said you could add them through buydebug.

Though it does look very industrial and if you made it a family park, with ponds and trees and swings etc, rather than something that looks like giant tanks it would be better.

:)

That would be good ;D  Chuckles_82 I am so frustrated when I go on adventures , and fish (as a level 10 angler) then come home with with an empty inventory (I have tried to make a pond on my own lot with all fish from using buydebug ) but it slowed my game soooooooooo much Thank-you in advance

I would love it. I lost 110 deathfish because I saved my Sim to the Library (Family Bin). The deathfish just disappeared but so did every fish she had, so I would love it. ;D

Well at least my Sim didn't fish them all, some where taken off other Sims that I moved into the house. I still wish they hadn't disappeared, but at least Agnes has the skill to fish them again lol. ;D

Edit: Hey Chuckles_82 maybe, only if you wanted to, you could put some plates of Ambrosia in a chest on the fishing grounds. They don't disappear, I've downloaded lots that had plates of it, and I could use them.  ;D

Ok, well I'll upload the basic lot today - sans ambrosia, sorry. There's a carrot that some horses left on there while I was putting it together lol. Later, when I'm not working on challenges, and I have some more inspiration (I really ran myself dry before Christmas) I can make it into a nice park. I can picture a small part of what I want it to look like.

Hi everyone
I know its been a while since this topic started but the fishing problem is really bugging me so when I found this thread I was very happy! But I can't seem to find the link to the fishing spot! I don't know if I'm just being really dumb today but I can't see it anywhere!
I would be very grateful for any help!
