Hey guys I'm taking an extended hiatus... again. I'm out of ideas to build houses and I don't have as much fun designing homes like I used to; it feels more like a chore. So that's where I'll be, I will probably be back sometime. :P

That's beautiful!  How did you do the outside pillars (for lack of another word) that extend around the building?

You mean the tall sort of upside down u ones? Those were done using plain ol walls and friezes on top.

And thanks! I really like how it turned out. :)

Thanks ZapKid. I haven't tried to do friezes yet. I'll have to go look for how to do it and then see how well I read...LOL

Oh SOOOOO much better than the stuff you find in Lunar Lakes!  I KNEW you could build a gorgeous modern home that would be logical, efficient and beautiful for that town.  Really, this gem could fit anywhere.  Great job Zap!
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!

I think this is probably your best exterior. I am in love with just how perfect it looks. Splendid job!

That's a great little house for LL. Alas that I only have Ambitions. And that I have a 5-sim family at the moment that wouldn't fit in it. :-) Those "support" walls are what I was trying in my latest build effort, and I failed. I probably should have studied the house that had it first--it crosses through the wall. I think that's where I was lousing up. Ah well. Very nice house!
