Lunar Lakes Spawners
« on: February 17, 2012, 04:25:13 AM »
I've been so busy looking around this new world in edit town that I haven't yet started to play a normal game there.

If you like to find what is spawned on your own, please do not read the rest of this post.  This is what I've found so far...

Community Lots:

Crystal Mine - Gem (epic), Meteor (huge)
Crater Lagoon - Deathfish
Hot Springs - Fish (Lake Common 1 & Ocean Common 2)
Memories of Appaloosa Plains (dome) - Beetles (Lightning Bugs), Butterflies (Monarchs & Med 2)
Memories of Riverview (dome) - Beetles (Lady Bugs), Butterflies (Kite & Moths)
Memories of Sunset Valley (dome) - Butterflies (Kite), Fish (Ocean Common 2)
Memories of Twinbrook (dome) - Beetles (Japanese), Butterflies (High 2 & Silver)
Memories of Hidden Springs (dome) - Beetles (All), Butterflies (High 1 & Zebra..this has beetle cube markings???)

I didn't see any seed spawners at all...no money tree if they didn't add them to this world :(   There are many established plants so picking and planting the fruits and vegetables will be easy enough.

I can't believe that I only found one gem spawner...there has to be more.  Has anyone noticed whether or not they add spawners to areas that are not designated lots?

Off to see if there is a death flower to be found in Lunar Lakes  :)

*Found by Twinmum: Special seed around Oasis Shoreline.

I believe they do...at least they have in all the other towns so far.

Thanks for all the great information.  I removed the part about "spoiler alert" from the subject because we don't worry about that here.  If folks don't want help finding things, they wouldn't be here.  :)

If you want to find the spawners just for the sake of knowing where they are, you need to use the collection helper. Using that you can see plenty of spots for seed and gems.

Thank you Pam  :)  I can't tell you how many times I've come here looking for information and was happy to find it.  Now, if only I can find that Death Flower ::)

Haven't seen a death flower yet, and so far no special seeds. Lots of uncommon and a few rare. Will keep searchin

Oh my goodness...I never thought of the collection helper! I was rummaging around in edit town mode.  I'm interested in finding what they've added to Lunar Lakes so I don't have my poor simmies running about town getting all sweaty and exhausted in the process.  I'll give the collection helper a try. Thanks much!  :)

I also found a couple special seeds across the street from the 64x64 dynasty lot, to the left of the fishing hole.

If that lot turns out to be the Dynasty lot, that'll be ever so useful. :)

I  found that when I sent my inventor Sim off to the Crystal Mine with her miner she found a lot of gems and precious metals down on the lowest level of the mine. She dug up quite a few including a pink diamond and soulpeace.

Has anyone else found seed spots? I've only had uncommon and one special pop up in the locations mentioned here. I never found the one around the Oasis Shoreline. It might just be me. The seeds really blend in with the terrain.
