Unfortunately, no. My CAW crashing is wayyy worse than my sims crashing. :-\ I can only use it for about 5 minutes before it crashes.

I had that but now when I run it as an Administrator it hasn't crashed yet.

Hmmm, I hadn't thought about that. Thanks for the tip!

MoonsAreBlue, can I please build some homes for this world? I haven't done anything in a long time (besides my contest build but that doesn't count because it's too small) and I'm starting to get anxious! It's looking great by the way. I agree the beach area needs some work though- maybe mix in some different types of sand and make the area "shorter"? I find the palm trees from WA a great idea as long as you put some dirt colors under them. :)

Also, feel free to request a home by PMing me! Always happy to help.

Hey guys I'm taking an extended hiatus... again. I'm out of ideas to build houses and I don't have as much fun designing homes like I used to; it feels more like a chore. So that's where I'll be, I will probably be back sometime. :P

Zapkid, if you're bored you could work on my family home for Lunar Lakes. I'd love to be able to start my dynasty there ;)

Sure you can! It will be a long time until this place is anywhere near done. CAW keeps crashing on me, and I don't want you to build a home that may never get used if I can't finish it. My main concern right now is getting the view right. I keep having to tweak the view area so that you can't see the ocean on the other side of the mountain. But if you really want to work on something, I have two lots in mind that would be perfect for you to build. One is a mountain modern, 50x50. There will be a single father business man and teenage daughter, but I would like three bedrooms and 3 1/2 bath or more of each if you please. No pond or pools, though. Also, make sure the common rooms (kitchen, living, dining) are kind of bland. No flowers or bright colors in those rooms, but there can be lots of windows and light or whatever you see fit. I'm going for all EPs and SPs just because when I build, I won't be able to keep it to just EPs lol.

The second home I'm thinking of is either 40x40 or 40x20. I'll have to get back to you on that (reinstalling new version), but it's going to be a beachfront modern bachelor party pad. When I get further along, there may be one or two more buildings you could do, but those are the only ones right now that I know exactly where they go.

Yayyy! Can I put in fountains? It's fine if I can't though. And do you think you could send me a download link or something so the terrain color is right and I know where it is so I can make it match the surrounding area in shrubbery, etc. It's fine if you can't but otherwise the home might look a little out of place. :P

I'd prefer no fountains. The father is going to be hydrophobic. I don't have a picture for you, but it's going to be black gum trees, boxwood, azaleas, and those fir trees. I'll put those trees in in a few minutes and get you a picture. That part is already done. And I'm just using the default terrain, so you don't need worry about terrain paints really. It'll kind of be in a corner of the mountain side though. I just checked and I was mistaken. It's a 40x40 lot.

Here's a small update. CAW seems to be cooperating with me right now. :) Here is the wealthy mountain home area. There's also going to be a community lookout area over the ocean. There aren't any buildings yet, though.

This is the Town Hall. It's located in about the middle of the town and will have all of the small rabbitholes.

Here are some of the rabbitholes! They're not complete, but once I get some time I'll work on them more as far as landscaping and such goes. They're working as placeholders for now.

This is where most of the Late night buildings go. There will be an apartment added in this area.

That's it for now. I know it seems like it would make more sense to fully finish the town before I start placing buildings and such, but I find it easier to go ahead and get all of the community/career lots out of the way. What do you all think?

It looks great Moons! It is very tempting to put lots in unfinished world to get the idea and feeling of it, but keep in mind that any sculpting done in the world can(and almost always does) sink the ground everywhere causing ugly gasps between lots and ground around. You can however save lots in bin, and after finishing sculpting delete all lots and place them again to solve the issue.
I love the sculpting/painting at the edges, painting specially, while it is a great idea to have the flat urban part. Looking forward for more :D

This is looking great. I sure wish I had the time and talent to do it. I am working on my first blueprint home. I found one online and I am trying to make it look as close as possible. I don't know all the secret you guys know but so far the outside looks good.

I can't wait to see more.  ;D

Thank you! The buildings that are shown were placed after I exported the world and then placed and saved in the game (not Edit In Game). Edit In Game isn't working for me right now. So basically the version in CAW does not have any buildings, but the buildings are saved for when Edit In Game starts working again. I'm pretty confident the sculpting I've done will stay the same, but painting is up in the air. I have a lot of paints that I'm experimenting with and some parts just don't look quite right yet. So far my favorite part is the mountain area. Part of the town story is that developers cut into the mountainside to build. I wasn't sure how to get that look, but I think this is working. :)

Honestly, this is my first time making anything with an idea behind it. I really just messed around a lot at first, but I think I'm slowly getting the hang of it.
